Thank you! This was great. Would infusible ink (pens) sublimate on the sequins? Obviously, I could not use this amazing photo/slice technique. But I don't own a sublimation printer.
I’m not into sublimation, but would like to do print then cut with my inkjet printer. I love the pictures on letters ideal for maybe printable iron on.
Hello, love this tutorial and want to try with multiple photos that says FAMILY as my example, so I will need as many as I can to fill the word. My problem is it won't slice! I followed your video, what am I doing wrong? 😞 Thank you!
I have bought an epson eco tank arrived yesterday and connected to my laptop. Does my Cricut have to be switched on in order to go into make it settings before i send to printer thank you from the UK
You can make it with printable vinyl with an inkjet printer excluding the sequin style. jennifermaker.com/how-to-fill-letters-with-photos-in-cricut/ Here is the print then cut for ink jet. jennifermaker.com/print-cut-cricut-transfer-tshirts/
I LOVE THIS ❤❤❤. I just ordered a sequin pillow and it is 16 x16. But the mentioned 18 x 18 inserts. Does this sound right? I am going to Joann’s this weekend to buy but want to get the right size insert. I am excited to give it a try!
Question for you - I took my little kitten. i put his photo inside the letters. What I would like to do now is export that creation in Design Space to either a jpg png or such file. I want to add it into a promo material I am creating. Do you know if this can be done??? The export I mean. So in your case "relax" would be a file that you could pick up and use in say a word document
Unfortunately you cannot export files from Cricut Design Space. If you want to save your files outside of DS, I would recommend using software that allows you to make SVGs, like Adobe Illustrator , Inkscape or Affinity Designer.
@@JenniferMaker Actually I found a way to do it!!!! So you take your design. Turn Canvas to blank so you don't have the lines. Then use the windows "snipping" tool to select the area. Save the snip to your downloads folder. Then open up either word or powerpoint. In word, Import the picture. Select the picture. Then select colour. From there select transparent colour. Use the eyedropper tool in that menu to select the white background. This then gives you just the letters with the photo inside. You can then save this picture by right-clicking and choosing save as picture. It can then be used on Facebook, Promo materials etc. And the beauty of it is that you don't need to be an expert in any of the photo programs. Anyone with a basic knowledge of Office tools can accomplish this.

Do you have a transcript of this or written directions? Admittedly, I could play it, pause it, play it, swear a bit, pause, play, etc while making something, but my brain works with written directions much better.

Make sure you are only selecting the two layers you are working with to slice. That is the most common issue. 💗
Jennifer does the material have to be polyester or can I use 💯 % cotton?
If you're sublimating, you would need to use polyester 💗

Yes, you may need to have it on in order to print from Design Space🥰

Hi Jennifer sending blessing..do you have a mug sublimation inside
Do you mean sublimating on the inside? No I don't 🥰
Love your tutorials!
As soon as I select all my slice option goes grey and unavailable
What am I doing wrong
you can only use the slice function with two layers selected.🥰
I was wondering where you found the beach scene for the one that says chill or is that a personal photo. I love this idea and can't wait to try this.
It is #469 in the library to use. jennifermaker.com/how-to-fill-letters-with-photos-in-cricut/

Can you do the same thing for graduation tshirt with pictures?
Yes!
Does the white part of the paper affect the design or does it only print the design part?
It will print only the design.
Could you do this with Heat transfer paper?
Sure! I don't see why not!🥰🥰
