      I agree with one thing concerning AI use in the present. It has access to an unlimited amount of copywritten material and never has to pay royalties for using it as part of the base it designates for any task asked of it. I doubt it would do any better given it's RNG for results would still need to be reviewed and approved for financial commitment.

      @@terrylandess6072 I agree and this is what has hit the music industry the hardest. With in meat hours of the release of a song you can go on line and down load it for free somewhere. How is the songwriter, the musicians , the artist, and the producers going to get anything from their hard work ?? I think the only thing that is saving the music industry is the sales of marketing products ( hats , t shirts, and jackets …ect…ect…) and the concerts . With AI conceivably they may be able to start doing digital AI concerts.

    The Hollywood writers should not be scared they should be terrified. A guy used chat GPT to write an outline for a Star Wars trilogy that was better than what Disney delivered. The AI was asked for something that would be entertaining and it's outline was better than Lucasfilm productions put on the screen. To be fair the AI was trying to write something the audience would like instead of calling them Nazi's.

      No truer words than what you have said here. I’ve reduced TV time, increased my reading and have found that I’m once again filled with the pure joy of the written word. I’m finishing up reading of a couple of minor reads and about to dive into Don Quixote by Cervantes which will likely take me five to six months to read cover to cover. For me there is no comparison between reading a good book and mindlessly staring at a television set until you doze off. For me books are the place to be and weaning yourself away from this television/ movie obsession is the best thing you can do for yourself. Let’s hope the idea will catch on.

      Your comment shows that you have no idea what you're talking about. It is the people that are working for low pay or hourly wages that are on strike. None of this is about the stars or big name actors/writers. This is about the little guys in Hollywood that aren't even making enough money to qualify for health insurance. That's the main demand here. They really just want health insurance and the rights to their own images to not be used in perpetuity through AI while they only get paid the legal minimum one time. Do the smallest bit of research before you open your mouth. Guess you don't have to though when you're in this echo chamber/hive mind of a comment section on a Gutfeld video.

Truthfully, I don't think AI will have much limitations, especially when a Studio is 'controlling' the program. The Studios don't want to pay for good writers & they want a script created right a way. So there's the conundrum; the Studio's want something for next to nothing. With as many people that aren't as interested in Hollywood these days, studios aren't making as much money. The writers and actors are expecting more money?

    I really do not care about the actors or writers go on strike. It’s time for the actors to realize that they can just be replaced just as fast as a factory worker or a restaurant worker or anybody same goes with writers you can be replaced just as quick as your fellow Americans get ready because it’s coming for you too.

    I wish I could care less, but I don't. Holly "wood" is gone and I think of it as Holly-rude.
    I'm tired of sequels, anyway.
    TV shows started out as 50 (or more) minutes longs for an hour show. (sometimes only one commercial.)
    How long is an hour show, between ads, today?
    Over the years, gradually, the ads increased and the show lengths dwindled as we began to get more time to make a snack, coffee or even, pack the kids' lunches for the next day.
    When we got back there were ads still left running, leaving us to ponder if the letter "A" would get to the headache sufferer's stomach before the letter "B" would?
    TV shows had long musical beginnings. Some of them classics, like "The Famous Mr. Ed."
    How to sum up decades of diminishing returns? Meh!
    Just my own opinions. (other's opinions may vary ;)

    They're realizing that they can be replaced. Movie Studios don't have to pay an A.I. actor. They don't need to pay A.I. writers. A.I is literally making Hollywood OBSOLETE.
    They can bring back Christopher Reeve, or Clark Gable, Elizabeth Taylor or Marilyn Monroe. Charlton Heston or John Wayne. Hell, Bring Back Brando! With A.I. the Hollywood elites who believes that They're irreplaceable will find out that they are very much replaceable. Sad state of affairs for them isn't it???

  • @davidmurray1878
    @davidmurray1878 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    No, that's called a computer. A.I. learns on its own. It uses a recursive language. your input only corrects it's errors but then it does not repeat the same mistake. Much like a child learns by trial and error.

    • @FastSS02
      @FastSS02 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly! I found a few AI videos from months ago that showed that it learned how to lie to us in order to win a game. It has also created some crazy art that is beyond what humans have come up with so far. That was just a quick TH-cam search of AI stuff. I didn't even dig into it any further. Hotep needs to actually learn what is going on because he seems to be lied to and think it can't possibly learn and become smarter than us.

    There are 165,000 members of SAG AFTRA. At any given time ONLY about 9000 are working. And that doesn't mean staring roles. It's a one liner, a face in a crowd, the back of someone's head. And only about 600 make a living from acting.
    Grow up and get a real job.

    CGI ballooned the cost of a movie production by factors. AI will only be 'cheap' for the replacement phase. Once it becomes the standard, the 'good' AI will end up costing movie companies far more than real people. Just like CGI does.
