I just got a weighted rucksack for walking.
    It’s awesome!
I take long walks, and I stop to do push-ups and dips at Park benches, and I do some squats, lunges, etc., in green spaces.
Makes me feel like a beast 🐺
    I’m 62-year-old woman 🤣🤣🤣

We are not giving up. Keep trucking along. I hope if I start walking again, things will turn around. I see some different things happening. Listening to my hunger cues more. Sleeping good, no snacking, no yogurt. Stay strong.

Yup, I'm not quitting. It is a mental game for sure though, as you know! Another pound back up today...

@MeatingWellness yes I won't weigh in again for awhile. The scale and I broke up a long time ago.

You're doing great! The InBody keys heavily in on the intra/extracellular total body water reading for its estimations, so if it's lower in one reading, it's calculation will interpret you as having relatively less lean body mass and having relatively more body fat mass, if overall weight between the two results are the roughly same. Total Body water should be fairly consistent between readings, but time of day, hydration levels (sweat, perhaps the electrolyte reduction?), whether you've just lifted, etc... can affect the resulting calculations. It seems like your body probably is undergoing recomposition before it decides to lower its weight set point. Just continue being patient and keep up the great work!

Do you know if red meat/saturated fats actually promote ovarian cyst and fibroid growth? I just found out I have both and my naturopath wants me to cut back on the saturated fats and eat plant protein! 😡 I'm not happy and pretty confused now. If anyone has insight please comment and help this chicky out.

Let me email the Obgyn we had on Lioness Lifestyle Live to see if she will answer. She practices with metabolic health in mind. Here is a link to that episode so you can watch and see if anything in there helps you. th-cam.com/users/live-QVgTmOMZTQ?si=Mj5MIgxFU7CdpIqV I want to say no, but I am not a doctor and do not give medical advice. If she answers the email I will come back here and let you know. I would also refer you to Zoe Harcombe PhD who has been researching all things diet and nutrition for 15 years. Here is her website: www.zoeharcombe.com/ You can search it for articles. She goes through all the studies and rips them to shreds and let you know the nitty gritty.

You may want to research taking iodine, a good book about it is " Iodine Why You Need It. Why You Can't Live Without It. " David Brownstein M.D He was Interviewed By Dr. Berry on his TH-cam Channel. Not sure if it will help you or not, But I think worth looking into it.

Most naturopaths have been indoctrinated into the plant-based nutrition dogma.
I don’t tell my naturopath or my doctor that I do Carnivore. my blood work and my health is perfect and I don’t want to hear their nonsense about balanced diets.
My own experience - and my observations of others - tells me that everyone can benefit from just trying Carnivore for 90 days.
I recommend that you Follow one or two experts.
Don’t confuse yourself by listening to a bunch of different points of view for right now.
(Yes, do you want to learn as much as you can; but you also also want to start getting healthy right now and not waste time in confusion)
My recommendations for who to follow to learn the science of carnivore:
      Dr Ken Berry
      Dr Chaffee, Meat-Free MD
I also recommend joining the “Steak and Butter Meatup” (for just $30 a month), because you get to ask doctors and experts questions to get your own individualized responses.
The most difficult part of starting Carnivore is adjusting our attitudes about nutrition in general.
For 50 years, we have been lied to about the dangers of eating red meat and fat.
For 50 years, diabetes, heart disease and other serious illnesses have risen exponentially.
Follow the money. Who benefits from keeping us sick and weak? Who profits from getting us to buy vegetables?
Good luck to you on your journey😊
