    The TMX 155, incredibly tough bike, it could haul damn near a 1000 pounds if you gear it right, infamous for the ankle breaking kickback, and its legendary reliability. Beautiiful build and im sure that thing some proper gnarly stuff.

    TMX 155, the benchmark of torque for tricycles here in the Philippines (not sure today). I remember when I first rode my uncle's TMX, it was like dragging my soul forward 😂 it even had a sidecar.

    • @AlwoodWick
      @AlwoodWick  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like that, the benchmark of torque! I think that title really does fit it well, it still is today im sure, as it goes up mountains all day long fully loaded! Awesome little bikes in my opinion!

    Hey, Man, I'm in Canada right now, Pinoy, IAM collecting old Japanese classic bikes, honda cb350, Suzuki madura 1200cc, suzuki gs750,and few more.. watching your channel, I am tempted now of sending these bikes for you to scramblelize, instead of me working it here.. my plans here would be to booberize, and cafe racer, maybe we can come to an agreement.. thank you for your time and your posts.

    • @abominacja47
      @abominacja47 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I guess you didn't wach the whole clip. Rims are 2.5x17 and tires - front and back - are Power Tire DUAL D601 110/90-17 (a cheap Heidenau K60 Scout knockoff). He said, front fork is original so butterfly is stock. But if you meant swingarm, than it's also stock. You're welcome.

    Hi Al! Just want to know what is the budget involved in a build like this? Ballpark? Is it adjustable to a certain budget if owner opts to have modern options - fob key ignition, LED headlamps, monoshocks , custom gas tanks among others? TIA.

    • @AlwoodWick
      @AlwoodWick  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey amigo, for sure it’s adjustable to your own specs and what you can purchase! I know you can do a basic build cost anywhere from say 30k pesos if you do it yourself and up. But the more modern or special the parts then costing will go up but you can always do things in stages anyway and take your time as a personal project! All the best amigo. God bless.

    Good day sir,. Its my first time building a project bike, I am planning to convert my KAWASAKI HD2 to a YAMAHA SR400 modern classic bike look, i like its simplicity and modern classic style. Can you give me advice on how can i achieve this project,. I cant decide yet what size of tires and rims to use, which is better, drum front brakes or should i go with disk brake?., what shade of gun metal gray should i use?.,any suggestions and recommendations will be very mush appreciated,. thank you for your help sir,.

    • @AlwoodWick
      @AlwoodWick  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      wow thats awesome, i would suggest just to look up other scrambler builds online to get your inspiration and just go one step at a time amigo. personally i love a dark gun metal shade of color though, looks tough! Simplicity is key, i would also keep the air filter covered or at least partially if using a mushroom type so that when it rains, you wont struggle starting your bike up :-) otherwise just go for it amigo
