At least, that's how I and most of my fellow Germans understand it. The crucial difference between sadism and schadenfreude is that for schadenfreude the harm caused isn't intentional.

I've been watching a lot of your videos recently, kind of a shame I found your channel so late, but better late than never. Your videos are awesome!!
I love the suggestion of being able to laugh at your problems, I do it all the time. And always get comments on how I 'make jokes of depression' and so on. But honestly it just makes your problems so much smaller.
Girlfriend fairy makes more sense. You’re too attractive to be the “practice girl”. Here is the thing, you might be so good looking, that they feel like if they could talk to you, they could definitely talk to the girl they like. Trust me, it’s A REAL THING. I have enough guy friends who have told me about this. Some of us became friends this way.
As a straight guy, I simply don't find this honorable on the part of other straight guys. I see romance as something where it's perfectly fine to 'put all your eggs in one basket' at a time. If I'm going to put any effort into getting a start, it's either with one, or none. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Different strokes for different folks, but I think people should commit to the best behavior you reasonably can.
