  • My name is Charlotte, and I am the maker, knitter, and individual behind "Every Stitch Counts", based out of Washington state. On this channel I primarily make knitting podcasts for my other fiber and handmade loving folks. I talk mostly about what I have finished, what I've been working on, what I plan to be working on, and any other crafty or hobby driven en-devour I find myself doing! Sometimes, I also make vlogs, as well as other crafty and hobby related content!
I hope you enjoy this podcast. I talk a lot about my Golden Fall test knit, Talvinen sweater, Tessellated Vest and acquisitions from the Lamb and Kid knit shop.
Until next time, and remember, every stitch counts :)

Great video Charlotte. Thank you so much for the update on your knitting. Your colours that you always choose are fantastic, they suit you really well. The test knit jumper looks fantastic. I really love the collar on it. Looks fantastic. I am eager to see how you look in it. The last two colours that you brought, earth colours, just for you. Love and Blessings to you and Lady.

I know what you mean about wanting to make more feminine clothing for yourself once you start making more clothes. You can make things for your own level of femininity rather than someone else's though. Regarding the test knit, every time I've done one on such a tight deadline as 4 weeks (and 4 weeks is an incredibly tight expectation for an adult size sweater!) there has been a hard warning in bold on the basic information so you know what you're signing up for. However the sweater is gorgeous! I'm sure it will be fantastic to wear!

I Also Love Bobbles Using A Crochet Hook. I Knit The Senecio Top By Ksenia Naidyon, Who Represents "Life Is Cozy" On Ravelry. She Uses A Crochet Hook For The Bobbles. I Love This Top Sooo Much, It's So Amazing, But Work Intensive. 🥵

Your yarn choice with the test knit is stunning! Also digging the topaz vibes on your other knits as that's my birthstone!

The Cozy Shawl looks like a great knit. I’ve added it to my queue. I have some yarn in a similar colourway to your choices and thinking I might cast that on as a cosy Autumn knit. I also dug out my Classic Sweater after your encouragement last episode and am hoping I have the courage to pick that up and knit it alongside a Lanark I’m making for my husband. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation 🧡🧶

Your color combination and selection of yarn have captured my imagination yet again. And everything you're wearing always looks so graceful and classy on you that I catch myself laying my knitting project aside completely while your podcast is on because I really want to take in that beauty without any distraction as long as I can. Can't wait to see you wearing the finished sweaters that are all in the making right now. I'm working on the Sockcardigan by Dutch designer Eef right now, also in a color combination that would fully match your preferences. I never did a project involving steeking, so expanding my boundaries with that one....

    Love your shawl❤❤❤
    I started the Magnolia last
Night and will definitely look at making bobbles with a crochet hook.

New viewer here. I definitely get what you mean by knitting feminine garments. Have you heard of Kirsten Joel? She designs nice feminine garments.
Glad to have found your channel!

Love your podcast! The shawl is so beautiful, could you ask your Mom what Malabrigo yarn she used and the colour? It’s so lovely on you and I can see why you wear it all the time 🥰

Hey! Thank you so much! So I did ask her and it’s a color from a while ago. I don’t know if they still make it, but the closest we found online was Sagittarius. The base is Malabrigo Rios :)

Fast test knits are TOUGH! My most enjoyable tests have been 6-8 weeks or longer

Thanks Charlotte, you know our needlecrafts are our form of art. Have you ever sat with some favorite yarn, or handspun and created your own design. I enjoy foing that. As of now i am making a jumper, using wool that I dyed, and knitting it unspun. I love the fabric it creates.😊 Thanks for all your wonderful videos!
