If your bassinet matters is 34.5x20.5 with 1 inch width what would the cut be for corners? Thank. you so much very fast and easy sheets. Outstanding explaining.
31x22.. since the mattress I am using here is thin, i just did 4inc for the ends. But if your mattress is thick, you can do 6 inches. You can measure the length plus the thickness, so with the width plus the thickness. then add 6 inc. and maybe you can add another inch for the elastic fold..does that make sense? Let me know.
You're welcome..it depends on how big your mattress is. This one is smal because its bassinet. 1 yard would be enough. But if u plan on making one for a crib like a 3 or 5 inches mattress, you would need 2 yards.
@@wendysaelens4760 I believe the mattress is about 2 in thick and the mattress is smaller than a regular crib mattress. It is like a bedside bassinet. Sorry I do not have that mattress anymore as I already have sold it.
I would measure the length of the bed + the height + 6-8" (1 inch fold for the elastic) to hold the sheet underneath. The elastic is half the total length of your bed. For the corners it is the height + 6-8"**.
Thank you for the fast and easy tutorial 🥳

my basinet mattress size is 26.5 inches x 17.125 inches. What size do I cut the fabric to allow for the 4 inches you cut for the ends?

Thank you for the tutorial. Did I miss something? How much fabric is needed?

My mattress is 34.25 x 18.5 x1.5. What size of material would I buy for 6 inch corners and I inch fold for elastic?
How much do you add for the seam allowance on top of the mattress measurements ?
I do about an inch on the corners. But 2-3inches on the sides (fold it twice) where the elastic would be inserted
Sorry for the late reply
Very good tutorial--thanks!
Thank you. You're welcome

how big do you want to cut your material if you have a mat to cover that is 24 inches by 36 and how big do you cut those corner parts? Thank you
