Sometimes double dozing makes sense. In this case, both dozers belong to the same excavating company. Usually these two are on different job sites, which a single D10 can’t do. But having two D6 XE’s that you can bill to separate sites when needed, then work in unison on other site, makes better business sense. Yes, the D10 is a dirt pushing hog... but being versatile AND being able to mobilize two hogs easier and cheaper can pay off more often than not.

Blades need tipped back for slot dozing, they are carrying about half the dirt they should be.

@@Chemical442D6 is not nearly as hard to move to different job sites as a D10 ether
