I prefer to think that the good ending is true, but this is so... realistic. I mean, Delta dies, but not for nothing. He gave his daughter a chance to be a better person. But indeed, she is alone.
Ever since I first played the game (Adopted every little sister I found and only killed Gilbert Alexander which was more of a mercy kill) and got the good ending, I've carried those first lines from the ending "Evil is just a word, under the skin it's simple pain" with me, and used them on many an occasion. This game really drops the morality anvil on the players. This ending tugs at my heartstrings because I think of Delta as seeing Elanor follow in his wicked footsteps and thinking "I'd rather die than have her follow in my footsteps." It's so painful and so beautiful. Even if I make it through this ending, those last lines break me. "But father, wherever you are.. I miss you.."
It literally gives me goosebumps to even look at that line... This game/ending made me cry. It still does. I play it over, and over just to get to the ending to see the entire game. I love it. Out of 10... 10/10 game. It's just absolutely beautiful.
I wanted to get the monogue in which Eleanor learned that "good and evil" are not constants. But, maybe the "innocence is chrysalys" was the one I needed to hear. While in real life I never performed any real cruel or cut-throat actions, the truth is, throught games, it was showed to me I had the will to do it, if given the conditions. In performing those choices, a bit of my innocence died, and I learned about myself. But one thing is for certain. I am not going to allow Eleanor to be like me. I may be an illness. But it was my choice. Eleanor must also be free to choose who she really is. She already has the power to make it by herself. Now, she needs to find her own values.
"Father. Where ever you are......I miss you." *Seconds later back in Rapture a Vita Chamber activates and Delta appears* "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" Okay im not commenting this to make a joke, but as a funny bummer.
I am crying so hard right now D'X it makes me so sad that the bioshock series is over yet then bioshock infinite RUINED IT ALL i mean it was good but it took away the creepiness and rapture. and the little sisters....but this one was the best out of all them.

The only creepy part it had was when you had to get through those watch boys, and it really wasn't all that scary, more so annoying since you couldn't really do much other than sneak around. And the fact that there were an unlimited amount of worlds and that Comstock was really just Booker in another world; it was disappointing and I saw it coming a mile away.
I actually loved Infinite's change in tone, rapture was so dark and claustrophobic, so being in columbia was a real breath of fresh air, the problem lies with the quantum mechanics and game length.

The first part is affected by how many main characters you kill, and the second, how many little sisters you harvest. To get evil, you must kill and harvest all characters and sisters, but for good you must spare and rescue them all. There are 4 combination for neutral endings, so all in all, 6 different endings.
The good ending is a pretty happy way to wrap the game up, but this is my preferred ending just because it is such a powerful and sad scene. It just sticks out so much compared to the others. Wish the first Bioshock had an actual neutral end.

Honestly I think this is my favorite ending. It's sad yes but it feels as if the game was building up to this, Delta had to give up so much to save her, and in the end he had to make the ultimate sacrifice.
'Sounds from the Lighthouse' doesn't have the song that plays when Delta is working his way up to the window/you see Persephone crumbling, huh? That's a shame... It's such a short piece, but it's also so so -so- beautiful. I thought it might've been part of Pairbond, but no luck... It really gives you a feeling of longing and knowing you have to leave something behind. For the player, Rapture, which explains the last long good look at the city, and for Delta, Eleanor because he knows he's dying.

This is still one of the few games that kind of had me like wow at the end and actually cry a bit over. Knowing the fact i would have wanted better for her and screwed a part of her life because she wanted to be like me.

Bioshock pissed me off and made me want actual revenge against Fontaine. Bioshock 2 made me care more about a single character than I have about anything else related to a video game. Very fast for those who don't truly understand the whole sacrifice save thing because you die either way I can explain... ADAM holds memories which your memories would still be inside her... Which she when saving you takes your ADAM... I believe this also has something to do with in all save endings you begin to see in her eyes except this one... Get me?

I think this is the ending the majority of people get, because most people harvest at least 1 and save at least 1 little sister.
