Grabbed a 1660 super for $90 for a budget build. Its been great.
I'm not sure if I got lucky but I managed to build i3-12100f + used Gtx 1660 super under 600 dollars. So far its working wonders. Replacing my ryzen 5 3400g build with this build made me cry as I game with this.

hello everyone, what do you think about using stock cooler of this i3-12100f, it is hot over 85 while playing game or something, should i use the hyper 212 spectrum v3 rather than the stock cooler?

Which one's better? 12100f or 5600? Also I'm seeing lots of "amd socket is dead", what does that mean? There's no future upgrade?
dead socket means there's no upgrade path after and you'd need a new motherboard and probably new memory. i'd opt for the 12100, since you'd be able to upgrade up to a newer i7 if you wanted to. speaking from experience, you don't want to upgrade to a dead socket but it's not the end of the world
you can upgrade to 5800x3d which still one of the best cpu atm (which has good longetivity), so yeah guess its correct no more new cpu but very good performance
not a fan of 12100f tbh, performs well but high cpu usage at games (which tends to get even higher for regular users), 12600 or wait 13100/13400
How did you make to get apex up to 144fps. I have the same build and it can only get up to 80fps

Get an 500w power supply but with atleast 80plus bronze cus everyone can have white certificate even shit psu that gon die after 2 months so go for atleast bronze i got 500w fsp 8plus bronze for 50euro in my country and paired with that build i thi k 500w is enought to even upgrade to 3060

No huge difference go with 12100f
If you're just gaming, 12100f is better for price-performance ratio, if it's a workstation then 12400 it is.

I use latest i3 10th gen..and i see not much difference here....all depends on GPU... Except few games like CS,valorant and fortnite.
Exactly thats the difference, you just sayd it. Everything depends on the balanced parts of ur pc. There are games that are cpu bounded, and games that are gpu bounded. Both are procesors, but one does video and the other dictates where to get/send info. Anyway, cand explain how a pc works in a few word. Watch Linus tech tips for begining and maybe you will get some clicks. Nice day
