If you're long fan of BYU these recruits shouldn't surprise anyone!!! As a long time non LDS BYU fan this is the type of recruiting I expect every year in and out!!! This is just the beginning in the future I expect multiple 4*'s on the roster every year!!!

I like how we are strengthening the WR and TE rooms, makes everyone better. Wish we had same for RB and QB rooms

Love that BYU is raising the floor for what a "project" looks like. If 85 is low, we're in a good spot.

I will just add this. I was born and raised in Atlanta. People out here really don’t know how much talent is in the Metro Atlanta area. There are many kids that get overlooked there because the depth and level of talent is insane. Doesn’t mean the kid will pan out, but I have seen many under recruited kids due to the fact that there are many good players at the same position in the area

Great pick up! WR have never been an issue for byu it’s been consistent winning football & player development - QB. Hillstead and him will make a good duo next season.

Fesi Sitake should be getting a very good raise or maybe he already is paid an above average salary and this commitment is the reaso why.

Football and Basketball are definitely apples to oranges - but BYU basketball has never sniffed a top 10 class either. A year ago no one would have said BYU was capable of getting a class like that. I think fans believe that NIL and the right pitch can land elite classes in PROvo.

If you listen to Waller talk, he really liked a lot of things about BYU beforehand and BYU is what he was looking for.
He would probably have ended up at BYU even when they were independent.

Jake.... How is BYU not able to sign any significant talent on the D Line?

Question, why does it take Kalani having his back against the wall to elevate his urgency and not tolerate mediocrity?

BYU is currently 14th out of 16 Big 12 team. These commitments are great but they are still recruiting like a bottom Big 12 team. That is the reason for the BYU can't recruit rhetoric. They aren't going to be a factor in the conference recruiting at that level.

I agree Jake just spent 10 minutes of the show defending a low level recruit 😞!!! As a long time BYU FAN I expect 4*s on the roster every year!!! If we're not going to recruit at a very high level I would rather save the program the embarrassment and go back to G-5!!!

    • @jiacheng23
      @jiacheng23 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Shaunskee This has to be a joke, right? Go back to the G5? Either that or you're trolling?
BYU is never going to recruit at a high level in football and that is fine, just don't try to tell me that they are recruiting at a high level when the numbers don't back that up.

Chris Wilcox? He'll be 27 years old this year and has never played a down in the NFL.

Jake my family has had season tickets for almost 5 years in a row now and we were all told the season that we have to give up our seats for people who are willing to pay more money I find this disrespectful and disgrace

Optimistic in the offseason... I'm hopeful, but not optimistic about the season. Just remember the toone from last October and November before you go hyping all this Jake

Meh. We’ll see if the Cougs make it to a bowl game in Shreveport again, if they make a bowl appearance. Half of these guys will be injured, halfway through the season.
