This was a fantastic debate! I really appreciate the mutual respect shown to both candidates from one another. This was a much more balanced and respectable debate compared to the frustrating-to-watch presidential debate where so many questions were left unanswered, misleading and potentially invalid statements were made, and little professionalism was displayed. As an independent, I would have liked to see questions from the democratic side not so focused on anti-Donald Trump (not that I support him either), but more on actual issues and policies. I also think it would have been extremely beneficial to see the candidates from the other two independent parties participating in this debate. Voting is not a matter of one party or another, its a matter of the actual candidate and all of their stances that they believe in on various issues (whether that belief sides with democrats, republicans, or neither).
