@@Rex-pu8uq Probably in the minority myself; but I do NOT like this at all. Just sounds loud and annoying to me. Maybe it's because I don't really like pipe organs or choirs much. I also don't really care about the disney-esque nonsense that Raphael says either.
prone, stunned, frightened, blinded, silenced, cursed, devoured...dude was absolutely cooked. i loved the warlock raphael fight but this one might be even better, squad reveal and all!
Got him good! I'm more satisfied with this kill than the Warlock, but I absolutely loved the sleep potion while fighting Raphael with the Warlock 😅. Really happy to hear that you enjoyed the kill with the Necromancer!

I've really underestimated circle of death (again) and bestow curse. love how you turned him into a sushi table for your ghoulies and utilized necromancer spells instead of hold personing or wet lightning

The bonespike boots is so soooo good with ghouls! Just crazy to have 26 dc prone check and then ghouls to eat faces

Then you opened the door to reveal a gang of juiced up undead and jumped Raphael.

Thank you! 🖤 It went so good! I didn't want to use "hold" spells but ended up making it not do anything for the entire fight (I think). Wanted to challenge myself to win without destroying the pillars :)
This was probably my favorite method of locking Raph down that I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine how long it took you to get a cloud giant elixir for EACH SUMMON?!? True embodiment of “how much prep time do I get?”
Oh, glad to hear that! I'm very happy the outcome! It did take awhile to get all the elixirs, but was worth it. Really wanted to boost the undead gang as much as I could.

I was surprised how weak Raphael was after getting rid of the cambions and Yurgir. Also: Here are beings that deal with souls, wield incredible magic ... and as soon they see a kitten, go "Awwww" 😂
He can dish out the pain quite decently but yea, a lot worse when the cambions and Yurgir are around! Since Raphael hate kittens it feels 100% worth to use kittens ☠

What’s going to be the next solo build
I'm not entirely sure yet. I'm contemplating either Eldritch Knight, Cleric or Shadow Monk. What class do you enjoy most?

It would be tough for sure! I wouldn't mind trying it out on a custom rule-set save sometime but not sure if I could make it (Raphael fight) with a Necromancer. Maybe!

How are you proficient in music instrument without any bard lvl?
If you play with Alfira in act 1 and succeed on the second performance check (dc 10) you’ll get proficiency for free. Guidance and equipping Phalar helps with the check.
