I read all these Bible stories and was blessed to be in the care of people who told me about Jesus at an early age yet when I met my Delilah I ignored the still small voice of God speaking warnings to me,and I turned from Him,and I failed and my spirit was completely crushed. What?! Samson never "lived his life as a enemy of GOD." Did this "Pastor" really say that. Samson was concentrated as a Nazarite(Jud 13:6-7) and the Angel of the Lord, said he "would begin to deliver his people from the hand of the Philistines." Jud 13:5) Samson, from the tribe of Dan, (which is not mentioned in Revelation) Samson, he killed more of the Philistines by knocking down the temple after YHWH answered his prayer to give him vengeance for this two eyes. Remember this was still under Law or Moses, perfectly fine. Judges 16:30.
Not sure if you got this from the Bible or a book about the Bible. Judges 14:4 ... it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: ... The Bible records that Judges 16:1 is the first time he had been with a woman. Satan hated Samson. Samson never doubted God till Judges 16:3.

Sampson is a type of Jesus, Delilah is a type of the gentle church. Sampson love for Delilah cost him his life, but Delilah survived and gave birth to Sampson child. What a terrible message, Sampson is a type of Jesus in so many ways, even the way he broke the religious rules.
It is my understanding that Delilah wasn't Samsons wife! His philistine wife in ch 14 was burnt up in ch 15 because the philistines were angry and burnt samsons wife and her father because they blamed them for samsons revenge with the fire and foxes.

Actually i do know why the facination... the shapes represent occult symbols and they all mean something. Unsuspecting pastors dont realize that there are tares in the church who will subvert. The words for foreigner and the words for nation are translated from Hebrew and Greek words and they absolutely have everything to do with race or ethnic group. The word in Greek is ethnos, inwhich we get the word ethnicity. However, Paul makes it clear that we are all one in Christ after the victory on the cross. I just don't like it when pastors lie and gloss over these translations. Even in the old testament God had grace on other nations or people's that honored him and did his work.
