I've tried this 5 times now. So I select the front face of the sketch, extrude it back as a new body, select the skinny faces on the sides & front to make it bigger the extrude the bottom down. On the next step when I subtract it from the disc body it isn't making a new body. Not sure what I'm doing wrong......I'll try again later. I've been dividing up cylinders into 16 pieces at 22.5 degree angles then using the 3point plane to project whatever dxf design I want, it works great but it would be nice to figure out your technique for times when it's a complicated object that needs repeating.
This helps a lot 😎👍

Very interesting and very clear video, I have a question for you, what software do you use to make videos?
Thanks! :) I just screen record and then use imovie.
Google sheets
I get it, but I don’t. 😅 I have to try it tonight. 👍
@skyrider4789 the cutout? Its simply making a pattern and subtracting it. It makes it way easier for specific projects :)

Pretty sure that you have to change the subtraction settings on the left based on what i’m hearing from you. You can select keep only modified bodies.
