I am Palestinian, and the first time I heard this song about 20 years ago as a soundtrack to the Japanese anime series Samurai Champloo that came out in 2004. That was a very hard time for Palestine when they have destroyed the West Bank(My city included). I am Palestinian, and the first time I heard this song about 20 years ago as a soundtrack to the Japanese anime series Samurai Champloo that came out in 2004.
