I meant to write this is not a 0-60 test. Thank you for watching 🙏🏽
Hey Wadson yes I use it occasionally and it definitely does make it go quicker. Nice video thanks.!
Yes it does! Thank you 👊🏽
I always put it in ect power when I want to overtake. The throttle is way more responsive. From a dead stop it doesn't make a difference though.
Yeah you’re right! From a dead stop the car just spins the rear wheels. Too bad these cars don’t have LSD, it would help a lot.
It does, I felt a huge difference from a dead stop the first time I felt it, only to find I switched it on accidentally when I was cleaning the dashboard
@@SlowWhip It has AWD system !
@@juliusbalcius8569 No RWD system
With the ect power off i feel like my transmission is restricted and does not go above 4k rpms. But when i turn it on. It feels loose, throttle response is sensitive and she redlines. I only use ect when I'm overtaking tho.
Yes! On normal mode the throttle is just lazy so that’s why I use ECT 90% of the time.
Great video ! You should do 0-60 and 60-130 test ! I wanna see times your car can do.
Thank you 🙏🏽 and yes I’m making a video on that. I’m looking for a safe spot.
I know it’s not a 0-60 test but I heard the fastest way to 0-60 is brake torque, turn off traction, and leave in normal. You should make a video of you attempting different 0-60’s :)
Yes you are correct! I’m making a video on 0-60 test and quarter mile very soon. I’m looking for a safe spot or I’m just gonna have to go the closest track in
my area which is 200 hours ago.
Should you use the S gear mode for a 0-60 run?
@@NSH_2814 I r read you shouldn’t
Great videomon this subject, I do use ECT in the hills with winding roads. You can feel the response is a little sharper. 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Thanks! Yes you can definitely feel it
When I use ECT power mode, car runs better, faster and smoother acceleration..
pwr basically gives it more torque for take off
Do a 1/4 mile time with ect PWR on, and ect PWR off (WOT), and record the times. You would definitely see the difference.
Yes I’m doing a proper 0-60 and 1/4 mile test very soon.
@@SlowWhip ok , and you're not tuned right? For me with the ect pwr mode turned on, my fastest 0-60 was 5secs flat. But with it turned off , I was doing 0-60 in 4.5 - 4.7 seconds. I'm also tuned and drive with paddle shifters and not on D.
@@PResmejor No I’m not tuned but I’m planning on buying RR Racing tune. I feel the car is slower when using Paddle shifters. I’m doing a proper 0-60 test soon so I’ll do it on drive and paddle shifters to see which one give me better results.
@@SlowWhip I currently have the RRTUNE but I'm going to get a custom tune instead due to the fact that I'm upgrading the camshafts.
@@SlowWhip with the paddle shifters, do you shift all the way up to 6400rpms?
From a dig, my best 0 to 60 was 5 secs even in my 2010 IS350 Sport. Maybe due to cooler weather, it was 75 degrees with low humidity
Weather might have something to do with it plus my rear tires aren’t too good. Last time I tested it I got 5.1 and that was a few months ago. I’m doing proper 0-60 test video soon.
When is the RR supercharger kit coming to the IS350?
RR Racing tune yeah but supercharger? I’m not sure about that yet. That’s $12k in parts in labor for 400 whp
Get the sprint booster V3 on race mode 9 plus have the ect power mode on and you'll see even a big difference in acceleration
I have pedal commander and it works great
@@SlowWhip yeah I can't drive without my sprint booster, it makes a huge difference
@@is2fiftyslowfsport744 yeah man they definitely wake the throttle body up
Just got my is250c ! Getting familiar with ECT & NO ECT Great Video !! When would you recommend using ECT daily ? or just in rougher/windy roads ?
Congrats on your new IS250c. You definitely can use it daily but downshifting can be a bit rough. I’d say leave the car on normal mode if you live in the city with busy traffic, and use ECT on the highway, back roads, and rougher/windy roads
Love the sound of your car brother! Specific exhaust?
Thank you 🙏🏾 it’s an invidia Catback exhaust
Does make a different I get up to 130-150 faster
What kind of wheels are those, mine came with chrome vossens that look ok..
These are factory F-Sport wheels. I just painted them black
This car is nice
It's looking 👍
What the heck is up with the choppy edits?
He stutters a bit só to not make the video long he cuts the video in between those parts
You have isf seats??
Yes! 2011 to 2013 IS350/250 F-Sport package get IS-F seats.
Lmao I know those roads they are near me lmao
Lol you live in Lee County?
@@SlowWhip Miami no but I pass around Lehigh all the time.
@@djnon-refundablefee9245 Oh I see!
Great vid mate. Keep em coming.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Great video bro
Thank you 🙏🏽
So you mean the power ect make the car faster than the normal mode right
Yes it does
@@SlowWhip How much HP gain?
I feel that the car is faster when in normal but with ect pwr it does feel a lot more responsive
Ricky W normal mode is better. Ect pwr is for like windy roads because it holds the gears in high RPMs
which mode / how do you enable normal?
@@senorbonbon there’s a switch right next to the traction control button, switching it up turns on ect power and there is a little green display on the gauge cluster. Leaving it in the middle is normal mode
@@Misha2is thank you so much, btw as mentioned in the video it won’t have an affect in the transmission? It’s best to come to a complete stop before changing modes
@@senorbonbon no problem man and Im pretty sure it won’t cause any transmission issues. I mostly drive with ect pwr on but sometimes with normal mode and I drive my is350 pretty hard for almost 3 years with no issues. I don’t think it matters if you switch modes from a stop or while driving but it’s up to you man, I just switch modes while the car is moving
Hey Dude, nice car! Wanted to know, have you done anything to the exhaust? If you have, if you don't mind sharing what exhaust you have?
Thank you! And yes I have
Those videos are live on the channel.
So using ect on a roll do see a difference?
Yes! The car feels a lot more responsive when using ECT.
Hey bro. Are you planning on buying throttle controller?
I never think of doing that. Now that you said it, I’ll do some research on Apexi throttle controller 👍🏽
@@SlowWhip awesome. Please do let me know what your thoughts on the apexi throttle controller. I was planning to get one until I saw a couple of club Lexus comments saying they had their car broken down after installed 9 months. Now I am a bit hesitant. Cheers mate.
@@hcy2925 That is interested. I’ll definitely do some research before I jump on it. I rather be safe than sorry 😁
