I am glald that you came up here to show what life is like here in the North. I live in Nahariya, which is North of Regba and just a few KM south of Betzet near the border. We live a fairly normal life, but are always aware of where the nearest shelter is, where to go for safety, licensed people carry guns, the rest of us carry knives and pepper spray. We are resolute.
Please be safe all our fellow tribes of Israel. We have not forgotten that Jesus celebrated passover, and every Christian church remembers him and you by having communion . Approximately one third of Lebanon’s citizens are C. Six percent of the population are Druze and the rest of the citizenry is M. Add to that, the M refugees from “Palestine” and Syria and Lebanon is hardly a C country. That’s a pity because when Lebanon was at its height, it was a C majority country with a sizable J community. It’s been on a downward spiral ever since then. That’s what happens when you get rid of your J’s and bring in Ms. Pay attention Europe, America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
In 1947 the UN recommended the partition of the land into a Jewish state and an Arab state. Israel agreed, but the Arabs didn't. Instead, in 1948 the surrounding Arab countries (Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq) declared war on Israel, which they also lost. Israel is not the aggressor or the invader.
@@Muhammed-Dee Around 40-50% of the entire Israeli population are descendants of Mizrahi Jews, which are Jews that lived in North African and Middle Eastern nations like Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, until they were subjected to such massive persecution, and attacks from the local Muslim and Arab population (and Islamic and Arab governments) that almost all of them were forced to flee to Israel in the 1950s, and arrived with practically nothing but the clothes they had on. These Jews are now what make up the vast majority of not only Israeli Jews, but of all Israelis. To answer your question of where did they come from, the majority of Israelis are the children of Jews who lived in Islamic and Arab countries, but were practically forced to leave for Israel or faced destruction. An example is in Algeria. In 1955 there were 130,000 Algerian Jews. In 2024 there are less than 200.
