Lots of memories ..when I listen to Lanny talk…some from Deer drives..some from stand hunting… some from still hunting…I attribute my many years of shooting bucks to my time avid hunting of squirrels each fall …and lots of shooting with my rimfires.. all yr…Thank god for people like Lanny Benoit… Hal Blood..and Rodney Elmer..and their people who are part of their hunting group…..I’m here in Northern Michigan….but our bucks rarely are as big as what they collect..in Maine….after hunting whitetail bucks for 55 yrs..my best were 210 lbs dressed out…..a 6 and half yr old buck….I’ve taken only 4 bucks in the 200 lb range my whole life….For many years. Mainly.hunting pressure….and preditors/ hard winters would take out many 1 1/2 yr old bucks…here in Northern lower Michigan…..We have lots of Deer ..but our UP herd has been almost wiped out by wolves..as is the case in Northern Wisconsin ..Minnesota….Deer can easily out run a Wolf.. but they can’t do it in deep snow in the winter in a weakened state from hard winter conditions…

As great as Lanny is, as well as his legendary family, this is kinda hard to watch. I like your work Tim. I'd like to hear more from Landon. Over all, glad to see Lanny and Landon! Lord have mercy on us. Jesus is King
