I live in Ohio. And have friends from that area. They knew it was poached as soon as the pictures were posted. If he had all those charges he is an idiot for thinking he would get away with it. As hunters we really need to reflect on what we are doing. Poachers give all hunters black eyes amongst all anti hunters. I’ve killed a couple of nice bucks but to me my sons first deer and my wife’s first deer are memories I cherish over any memories of any deer I’ve gotten. In closing I believe we need to stop giving him his five minutes of fame. He didn’t help us he hurt us.

Awesome video. Id like to know how he learned the deer was in there. We dont know if this was the bucks core area. Bucks travel miles and miles during the rut. His core area could have been 5 miles from these properties. the only thing i know for sure is the CJ is an absolute IDOIT. theres now way a deer that big wouldnt draw attention. complete dummy. This will not go to trial. If hes smart hes trying to make a deal now with the prosecutor. Although, He doesnt seem that smart.

My nephew possibly saw him live I did not put in some serious time and 💵💰then to find out after season that last yr. a guy snuck in and killed him early bow waited to send pics after season I received one on Christmas Day🦌🤨 reached out to him with a very bad ending I can’t do it anymore won’t put any time on any buck mostly don’t even waste my time hunting anymore I actually love doing trail cams my wife says that I kill a lot of batteries😂😂 I honestly thought my nephew would’ve taken the news worse but it was me I have a different outlook on hunting now my quest for the past 6-7 yrs is to get these monsters live in their naturalist form it transformed me into a better person/hunter enjoying the GREAT OUTDOORS during early season 🍁 wishing you and all the best THANK YOU for sharing 👍🏼🦌🇺🇸

Great to see you keeping the Living Legends in the loop, that series was awesome. Big thanks for what you're doing. I'm mainly a still hunter, hunting very similar terrain to Hal, and that bit on 90/10, travel corridors, and relation to doe pockets is bang on. My point being, you can adapt your still hunting skills to be effective in big timber if you want to, but you need a sound strategy to keep you in that 10% all day, and Hal basically told you most of what you need to know.

Very very intereeting about the does just staying there. I do think jims correct they are tired of being chased. I think they use the hunter to their advantage. Its sometimes the same with a buck he will stand there looking at you if the doe doesnt run. Learned that when i pulled off a miracle and stalked a bedded buck with my bow
