You didn't define how you're using fragile very well. 1700 is okay for attack, but what you meant was it has no protection and is highly vulnerable to hand traps and other forms of negation.

A perfect example of consistency vs versatility is sekkas light in thunder. You get the consistency of digging into combo or the versatility of other spells like twin twisters.
For my Salamangreat deck I run 2 Lady Debug and 1 Flame Buffalo. Ratio's are everything. 3 Lady Debug is to much and I found 2 Flame Buffalo unnecessary and bricky.
ABC for life; I don't care if it doesn't get any support, I can fit in any engine I like in that deck with that massive decksearch, recovery, crazy boss monster and best of all; all the ABC parts are not once per turn. But screw system down man; only reason ABC won't be tier 1 deck.

Pendulum will always be viable it has a great sealing and you can always be creative with them.... plus its more competitive (ellhnas edw)...
Pendulum Magician is the better deck but I think it might be a little more expensive than $80?
