@@NerdDomain Superman being married with children was an error right from the moment of conception. Now they have a human heart in him?!? Nope. This recap clearly demonstrates the focus isn't what I want from a show about Superman,...or any other superhero for that matter.
The entire heart storyline here was stupidly lame & far-fetched even for a comic book. Sadly, this show has been mostly bad writing with some gem character moments scattered throughout. The Gunn Superman movie will undoubtedly be "Guardians of the Galaxy DC version", with loads of camp, cheese & goofy comedy. I would rather just re-watch Man of Steel.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I totally get where you're coming from-sometimes the mix of tone and writing choices can feel off, especially when balancing comic book elements with serious storytelling. It's all about finding that right blend. Gunn's style definitely has a unique flavor, and while it may lean into humor, I’m curious to see how he’ll approach Superman in a fresh way. Rewatching *Man of Steel* sounds like a great choice too-it’s such a powerful take on the character. Thanks again for adding to the conversation here! 😊
