I like the look of your presentation table Antonio, interesting choice but informative about the chalk boxes and work knives and chisels, caulking gun, and plum bob, for this particular brand look forward to your demo using the ink line, keep up the great work Antonio, glad to see you're back at it putting these videos together, peace
Good well made tools. Simple things like that i feel most companies are phoning it in on old designs and not nessary doing it well. Alot of the points you made are things I ussaly point out. The prices on Az japan are ussaly considerably cheaper and if you have multiple items the shipping cost becomes more reasonable. I've had 60 dollar newborn caulk guns and they don't compare to my 12 dollar skelontonised metal tajima caulk gun that was 12 dollars on az jp.
I always wanted the try the Tajima and Lufkin chalk lines ! That retractable one looks pretty cool. I’m 26 and have about 4 years in construction experience. 3 of those mainly rough wood framing. I went to my local union hall, local 1977, and spoke to a Business Rep. He told me we could start me out at 50% and all I had to do was go find a job, gave me a list of the sites going on at the moment and said I’m looking for a sponsorship letter. I don’t have any bags anymore any tools since I been out the game for about 2 years I have been working at a clay mine. I want to know if it is worth it. Thank you your videos are helpful and education
The 50% number can feel like a kick in the balls, but its never where you start but where you finish, as for tools and equipment, they wouldn't expect you to have much more than a small belt for your hammer and tape, as you move through time and earn more you will be able to purchase tools for yourself to use on-site, besides showing up every day on time, with your safety gear that's all anyone would expect from you, and they'll probably run your ass off, because your costing them the least. Show up, listen to instructions, and if you don't understand ask clarifying questions, attitude is everything starting out, you probably understand a lot of this already at 26, so just consider what I'm saying as a reminder. You're in the right place and in good hands with Antonio, peace
@@unscriptedwithantonio looking forward to it ! I’m debating a lot on leaving my job now to go and get started in the union . Hard decision I need help. My father in law is in the 797 cement mason and plasters but I don’t want that I love carpentry and want to learn everything and anything I can. Tough choice to stay where I’m at because our 3rd baby is due in April and don’t want to join the union if they will fire me once my kid is born and I need some time off to help my wife along with getting the oldest ready and to school.
@@williamjmccartan8879 I’m fairly sure I can show my work and get more that 50% I just was agreeing with the business rep to get my foot in the door. Seemed like a cool dude.
@maxochavez5854 First question: Does your state have paid leave? The second question is the apprenticeship even open in your state. Construction isn't the most child friendly industry. I would advise jumping in to the apprenticeship and then taking an extended amount of time off. But you can't control everything. Family is number 1. Take care of the home base first.
The plumb bob is pretty sweet. I wonder if the pin at the top was meant for sticking into drywall, or maybe it’s just made for releasing it when stuck with a magnet? Either way, I might pick that one up
Ones red case ones white case just color. I encourage you to get the black one on az since that's the only color of that model that's made in Japan others are China.

I always appreciate the kind words, Billy. I had to handle some family stuff, but I'm back in the game now.
@unscriptedwithantonio Hopefully you and the family are all good Antonio, sending love brother

When I looked it up. I guess it's for precise alignment. The pin retracts.
Can you explain the difference between CR201R and the CR201W? Thanks
