This was so beautiful, but so sad. I feel that they made places like this beautiful, to hide the ugly of what they were doing. May the tortured RIP. 💔💔💔
I always wondered if the families would feel extreme guilt after learning how their relatives they sent there were treated or wondering if they knew all along and just didn’t care
New subscriber from 🇨🇦Love these videos of abandoned hospitals, old mansions ,shopping malls etc etc . Love the detail and effort put into your videos Happy New Year 2023 guys ! 🎉🎊👌🇨🇦
That one room actually still had lights and the heater on and working since it closed and was abandoned in the 1990s?!? I wonder how was the electricity even staying on?!? I’d hate to know what the bill is! 😅
This shakes me to the core these inncent people treated this way having their lives taken from them and in a barbaric way and their voices not being heard Thank you Sir for making sure their voices are heard
This was common for most mental asylums in the world of that timeframe period. Patients with severe mental illnesses were seen as sub humans basically, so the idea behind these "medical" centers were to keep such patients away from sane individuals, not necessarily treating them. Also, because local authorities of those times didnt really give a fck about such mental asylums, they were severely underfunded and understaffed. This contributed to inhumane and gross conditions of the facility
Architecture is so beautiful, look at these huge windows. People wanted to build a masterpiece every time. Nowadays nobody cares about aesthetics. Has anyone seen gardens at the modern hospitals where people can spent time outdoors whilst being treated.
Yah and SUSPOSE to be confidential. There could be family of these people watching ... Some you could read and I just don't feel it is right showing it
This hospital is equivalent to a concentration camp, in my opinion, compared with the #1 ranked psychiatric hospital in the US, McLean Hospital, in Boston, which is far ahead of its time for patient care. What other foreign countries do you plan on visiting in the future? I would recommend Japan, since most abandoned properties are left untouched, with little to no vandalism, with everything still inside as it was left, which include homes, hospitals, hotels, and schools. Would you consider visiting Fukushima?
Thank you! He's looking at all the paperwork and says, "all these polygraph tests". EEG's EKG's... They used electric shock therapy and they'd hook them up to eeg or ekg to monitor the changes in brain activity and watch the heart for too much or to little shock. Evil don't you think?
It was massive, with parts still having power. We only got to explore half of it. Half of the property was sealed up really tight with no way to enter those parts of the buildings.
#BWORDLIVESON Absolutely disgusting how these poor people were treated, it's so hard to imagine what they went through. Thank you for sharing, happy new year to all of you and your families, I hope you have an amazing 2023, much love. xx ❤
Rather disappointed. Was hoping you'd find the medical facilities or places where they did their alleged experiments on the patients. Showed too much books and paperwork. Sorry, I really didn't think this place looked that bad.
I don't see that you have the right to go in and show ANY PATIENT NAME OR PHOTO. I SEEN PATIENTS PHOTOS AND THAT IS CONFIDENTIAL AND UNFAIR TO SHOW ESPECIALLY IF A FAMILY MEMBER COMES ACROSS THIS. YOU PEOPLE ARE OVER STEPPING YOUR BOUNDRIES HERE OR ANY HOSPITAL THAT SHOWS PATIENT PAPERWORK...WRONG IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD
ok yah he probably should have blurred out any personal info but he even syd in the video he dint know what any of the paperwork syd because he doesent know Italian all he's doing is documenting the building and the condition some day the only thing that will remain of this property and how people where treated within it's walls will be the pictures and video that where preserved and honestly I hope that one of the patients family sees this video so they can cantact who ever is responsible for all thoes confidential medical files and ask them why they where not destroyed or secured because your right they are confidential and shouldent be on desplay for everyone to see but I don't think the guy sharing his experience with us is the problem but that's just my 2 cents not saying I disagree I just feel the people that are responsible should be held accountable for cleaning this stuff up
Look Karen this guy isn't doing anything wrong here. He is simply filming his exploration of an semi abandoned building. He's not digging into anyone's life by filming what couple of names he saw during his exploration. If anything he's showing how much carelessness there is by the people who left the documents there out in the open in the first place. If you are that worried why don't you do something about it instead of bitching about what this man is doing seeing as in how you are the only one bitching about it.
don't understand how anyone could be so heartless and treat anyone that way.
Humanity is truly dark
A lot of the times they truly thought it would help. People were quite ignorant about mental illness back then.
We are indeed a wasteful and destructive species.
This video is very sad. Those people who were mistreated, didn't deserve it.
The same things happened at Willowbrook in Staten Island New York back in the 50s 60s and 70s!
Nice tour! Awful history. What a massive campus this has. Thanks for another interesting video and happy new year 👍🏼👍🏼
Wow, this is amazing but sad also. Very sad to think what these people went through, so sad. What a great video, awesome explore.
Thanks for watching Amanda!
You should look into Tartaria with insane asylums and orphan trains.
Watching from Texas. Wow that's so sad, how this PEOPLE were treated. 😕😮 Blessings to u and Happy New Year. 🙏🙏❤❤
Thank you for watching our video!
I love the old tile floors! Thanks for the tour gentlemen. Always happy to see that you do no damage to the buildings that you visit.
This was so beautiful, but so sad. I feel that they made places like this beautiful, to hide the ugly of what they were doing. May the tortured RIP. 💔💔💔
Thanks for sharing this location🏚 Just despicable what occurred behind those walls🙀😿💔
Thanks for watching Brenda!

Great Video Happy New Year's!
Happy new year! Thanks for watching.
This was hell not a caring facility who treated human beings. Shame on the administration. Despicable
Could you include the names of the facilities when they were in operation?
That one room actually still had lights and the heater on and working since it closed and was abandoned in the 1990s?!? I wonder how was the electricity even staying on?!? I’d hate to know what the bill is! 😅

So sad these majestic old buildings are just left to rot.

Someone said sus on the wall💀

All those old asylums did shock treatments, lobotomy, insulin therapy etc. Before drugs came along those were all they knew.
So very cool
Thanks for watching!
Not to mention all that personal information in those files 🧐
that’s the part i would be fascinated by
Yah and SUSPOSE to be confidential. There could be family of these people watching ... Some you could read and I just don't feel it is right showing it
Zak Baggins needs to go there, Aaron would be so messed with. So sad how people were forgotten

I have so many questions about the classroom area 🤔🤔🤔
I'm guessing the same thing happened to Wakefield asylum in UK.
Hopefully we will have a chance to explore it! Thanks for watching Sarah.
May all these people who died here at the hands of these monsters RIH
That machine was not a polygraph machine, I do believe it was an early ECT machine
It's an early EEG machine, not ECT.
Who put the heating on 😮
What cool vines growing though paint
The away it's Decay on the Walls
how does the electric still work ?? 😮
14:59 That is NOT a "machine for polygraphs" - it is an EKG.
Thanks for the info Chuck.

@@abandonedcentral Or an electroencephalography machine that measures brain waves.
Everyone hit like, share and comment! Let's get the guys views and sub count up for this new year!!!
It's strange they don't have more subs huh! I guess people go for gimmicky thumbnails over solid content.
@@oddmammal Right! It's sad, they do such amazing work. 💖

That is a big one place

@@abandonedcentral the power was still on in certain areas 😳 okay thanks for the update on this video on this place

Did you guys experience any paranormal activity??
Very interesting I would love to visit at night with a voicebox
That would be cool! Thanks for watching.
I don’t know why, but this kind of reminds me of no longer human the book. Still don’t understand why.
Haven't you got a Torch???

Those people are dead.
@JaejoongPrincess you don't know that for sure and the people had families. HIPPA RULES STILL APPLY
