I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =)
USAGE:
If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =)
On TH-cam and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way!
ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required.
If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except TH-cam and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed.
Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects.
Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music.
Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion).
So if your project is non-commercial or a TH-cam project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal.

I have recently made a very good experience with collaborating with other artists and am now - carefully - open to requests. Please note before sending me a request that any agreement will have to assure me a high level of control and independence over the composing process and certain copy- and intellectual rights over any composition that has been created on request (this entails for example that I can still upload and sell any music that I composed for a given project).
Important:
I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose.

I was watching the documentaries on the Paris Catacombs tonight and I was wondering if you ever considered doing another dark piece that would match the atmosphere of something similar. Walking through the endless stone corridors with bones to your left, right and under your own feet, knowing that if you get lost your own bones will rest in the tomb as well, haunted by the feeling of being watched. Ever done or consider doing something like that?

I am on my road which brings me to my goal. On my way, I cross a lot of mountains, rivers and beautiful landscape.
On my way, I cross a lot of boulders and encounter dangerous wild animals. But Adrian's music helps me stay dedicated and determined. Remember, it's all a matter of determination, time and effort.
This fits my DnD character perfectly. (He's kinda inspired by ranger's apprentice, like my profile pic)
Lonely, searching for his Mom and Dad, wherever they are... On the long trail looking for belonging in a world he doesn't fit in.

To this day, this is still my favorite song by Mr. VonZiegler. A classic. It reminds me of SO many good fantasy and fiction novels. More importantly, it reminds me of the road we all take. I know I've taken mine. Anyone in the world can relate to the figure riding on the horse. What a masterpiece!

Gosh the music, the picture, the emotion. Why cant there be anywhere that looks like that? Why cant we adventure like people used to? What I wouldnt guve to ride my horse on a trail like that and watch the country side. So much development of cities and such has taken that magic away from the most simple landscapes.
As someone whose lost when it comes to my feelings I can enjoy feeling the melancholy of this tune. Puts my heart at ease, very nice.
I imagine a solemn warrior who vowed to someone dear that he lost many years ago and with a sword on his back, he travelled the path towards the edge of the world called "The Lonely Road"

Just imagine the serenity and tranquility of this place, i can smell the fresh air and feel the grass crunching underneath my feet. Over the horizon i see the sunset another day in this wonderful and mystical environment. Loads of jaw dropping creatures shrouded in a myriad of colours pleases the eyes beyond its capability😍🌷🌷

The art is as beautiful as the music
This reminds me of a time that means mostly sad, for me at least. I know this is gonna be stupid, but I might as well get this off of my chest. I would always play online games, mostly role-play games when I was a little because I always thought it would be fun, and I could meet alot of more people that way. Then one day, I met someone while doing a role-play. We never saw each other IRL, but it felt like I met someone who actually cares for me, whether its an RP or not. We trusted each-other so much, we even told our real names to each-other. Her name was--- uh, I'm not sure if she still wants to keep it personal... anyway, We both liked Undertale, so we went to there. It felt like I grew up with her, because we were with each-other for years, probably 3 or 4. But then one day... her account got stolen. I panicked and panicked, worrying if I may never meet her again. The good side is that she remembered my username and attempted to add me. But my " friend " Trolled me and stole my account. I begged him as best I could to give it back, but he refused and laughed at me. And yes, I did pay him back. Now I had to make a new account, however... because her and my account were stolen, we couldn't get a hold of each-other at all. I felt so down. I stayed away from my siblings, I didn't talk in school, I stayed in my room, and... felt like I would never see someone as nice as her. I tried to find her, but that's like searching the entire world for her. Just one person out of 7 billion. For 2 years, I tried. But nothing came up. I had a voice in my head saying, " Yea, She's not gonna find you. '" I still tried... but nothing. Now, the game we RP in is like a trip down memory lane. I still feel like she's looking for me, an I'm looking for her. But there is some doubt in me like as if I should give up. The voice in my head keeps saying, " She grew out of this " or " She gave up " or " There is no possible way. " Now I listen to this and think, " I'm on both the wrong and the lonely road. " but I don't fully think that. Did or was I doing the right thing? Am I giving up too? I'm not sure. Sometimes I ask that to myself too much. I still think about her to this day. She meant alot to me.
