That was a great drive and his calm, focused, fuss-free and effective way of going about it sums up what we have seen of Alexander Albon so far and bodes well for the making of a successful career. It would be wonderful to watch him grow in stature.

It was really nerve-wracking when Grosjean closing the gap fast. Turns out, Albon's hard work also bring in some good luck. Everytime Grosjean was on his tail, there was blue flag and the gap widen. I'm glad he got to keep the point, a really well-deserved, hard-earned point. Keep up the good work.
I've been following F1 for over 30 years, and I cannot ever remember having such an awesome field of drivers and up and coming talent apart from the already proven world champions. There are so many that you can look at and say "Wow there's a driver to watch, or there is a potential multiple Word Champion "!! From a driver perspective the future looks very exciting!!!

Back in 2010 I was at the Braga Karting Circuit, in Portugal, for the KF3 World Cup. Albon, backed by Red Bull, won that event ahead of Max Verstappen. Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon and Charles Leclerc were also in that race. George Russell was in the FIA Academy category.
Incredibly mature drive from this young man and a pleasure to watch. Pity that all the best racing is taking place in the midfield. It was also fun to see Kimi passing both the Haas cars and Hulkenberg to get up to 9th.
Albon can go from pits to 10th in a torro rosso but Gasly can't even get into the points in a Red Bull starting from 17th in Australia... Harder track to overtake but still proves the point
Gasly was there alone, he literally had no support whatsoever. The fact that Red Bull has been having balance issues these past few races didn’t help either. I’m not making excuses and I am all for Albon taking his place, but you do have to consider all the factors

Good job for Albon! It reminds me of a paragraph from The Unknown Kimi Raikkonen: 'Even bad memories can be good memories. Everyone thinks that if you didn’t win, it was a bad race. Over the years there have been lots of races when you’ve started from some shitty place on the grid, say place X, and then you’ve been fifth or fourth, and you know full well that no one could have driven any better from that place but no one seems to get it. You’ve only done well if you come first.' Instead, Albon is fortunate enough to be found doing his great job.
More than a good pace, this guy has some really strong mental. He could have easily being slowing down since the crash, and be more cautious, but he made some good aggressive overtake on sunday, good job !
