Before the pandemic I was leading a minimalist lifestyle but since the clearing of items cleared through the markets in L.A... I was living with my senior parent (at the time had 4 dogs that were as well senior and had health issues) at the time as well which was scary because it's not as if I could life off fast food resturants much less get household supplies for a senior parent. I don't know how to be minimal on supplies now (economy has been tanking dealing with some current food shortages and even I was struggling to get kitty litter and canned food so if I see it now I buy it) because of my constant fear of running out of items like soap, rubbing alcohol, canned food, pet food etc. . Could you possibly discuss this issue as my minimal lifestyle especially with senior parents and pets?

Thank you for providing a completely different perspective on keeping vs. decluttering items. It has certainly given me lots to think about. It is true that it takes a lot of time to make some of these decisions and thinking about baby steps to take now is very interesting. I tend to get overwhelmed very easily these days so that is very helpful. Great video!

I'm on the fence with my dresser but really leaning toward getting rid of it. It's in purgatory in my office until I make a final decision but I'm enjoying not having the surface to put things "temporarily" and think I can use my closed a little smarter to house the things I took out of the drawers. I think the closet will be my next big project and what you shared here will give me food for thought as I evaluate stuff stored in the closet, just because I had the room for it. Thanks as always for keeping me motivated!

I really need to get to that balance with photos! I love taking pictures but there are so many that it's like a big burden instead of fun these days. I don't even start looking at them because of that. At least I have started to declutter them. I think I threw away about 5000 already... Just about 95000 more to go through.

Good morning, Sarah! Love your t-shirt. Got to love a stripe! 😁 I'm making good progress transferring my photos to Google Drive and still have loads of space on there. I'm being quite ruthless, so chances are I won't need any other back up. Yay! Have a great day. x

Thank you for really breaking down these perspectives, and changes to make. I found this quite helpful and will take the time to really think about and figure out how to realistically apply your suggestions.

In regards to photos, I try to live by the rule of deleting photos that aren't worth developing, even if I don't end up doing so.

Hope you and your family are doing well, idk if it’s just me, but your audio isn’t in sync with your video. Thank you for all you do. Take care and God Bless!
