@@HouseofValentina My problem with the Tom Ford book is that it makes me wonder about authenticity, and whether if you went to the closet(s) in that home, would you actually find Tom Ford clothes, shoes, etc from any of his stints at Gucci, YSL, and/or his own brand.
I doubt if most people (not the ones on this channel) even know who he is. When it first was shown on all these similar channels a few years back, I had to look him up. I think it's more the idea of owning something that speaks to luxury even if you can't afford what's inside. I'll pass though... LOL. I have beautiful books with art, birds, wildflowers. That's who I am.

Omg don't do it. It's not worth it. It's a cliche for people who have zero interest in fashion and just want a typical statement piece that everyone and their mom has. Be original, please.
Loved everything you presented. I like especially the decor items. I love color. I need color in my environment so my home is filled with soft harmonious color. No white walls. I do also love black, white, cream, beige so I also decorate with objects of those neutral colors. I've bought many of the decor pieces you've presented and they look great with my colors.
I've reread some of my comments and realized that it may seem that I think you are "wrong" or don't know what you're doing. Actually I think the opposite. You are very skilled and intelligent and thoughtful. You create gorgeous spaces as well as creating a beautiful family. I'm a huge fan.
I create beauty with color. The weird thing is that we have similar taste. I just express it with color. So please know that I have respect for what you have created and admire your exquisite taste in both decor and fashion. ❤

"Tom Ford book" means I pay $80.00 for a book to pretend that I am reading. Next book is "Chanel". I rather have Dr. Seus on my coffee table than these pretentious books.
My Chanel book only cost me 26€, I've had it for years and it's beautiful. I bought it not because it was trendy but because I loved it. The fact that it then became trendy and expensive after is not my concern 😅. The Tom Ford was too plain and office looking for me. I do love the AD, but there's no way I'm paying 100 quid for a book. Not when I can buy Real African Art, Sothersbeys and Christies fine Art and Furniture books for under a tenner at Re-Read 😊

Valentina, you are really the Queen of Amazon decor finds for the home, I loved everything you shared, I just don’t have the space anymore to put things Lol 😂, de cluttering what I already have might give me the inspiration to purchase some more decor, but I’m getting tired of the cleaning and dusting of all the pretty things, they look beautiful but I’m over rearranging my home to fit different pieces into it, I’ve had 3 Dyson vacuum cleaners and I’m Done with that brand, I’ve gone back to having a cord with my vacuum because I got tired of the batteries always running low when I haven’t finished vacuuming my home, I still have one cordless just for little pick ups but when I’m doing a deep clean of my home the cordless just doesn’t do it for me, I can’t remember the name of the latest cordless vacuum I purchased but it’s way better than the Dyson, the same with my vacuum with the cord, No More Dysons for my home Lol 😂. I was looking at the marble chain..I wasn't sure why I liked them or if I should buy some...then it dawned on me that it is an interactive piece. I think that is why im drawn to textures too....the textures incushions particularily can be very calming (especially for my ASD daughter)
I really want to watch a live with you but Im in Australia and I think the times are a bit rough for me...but I will still give it a go (put the insomnia to good use.

Can you please make a video with your recommendations for families with babies and young children? I’m having a battle with wanting cream colored sofas (non slip covered) and the reality of my toddler smearing peanut butter on them, or jumping on me when I’m drinking coffee on the sofa (as he just did!!!). Also, decorative items are tough because babies want to grab everything. Do you think have to put an aesthetically pleasing home on hold until kids get older? I’d love your thoughts!!!

Everyone and their mother has the Tom Ford book, i think a suggestion would be to have a book about something you love ... travel, home etc ... all my friends have that book on their coffee table and it's not even individual anymore

The Tom Ford book is an overkill however if you own it (like me) then you'd know the level of luxe 😉 It's just a really well made high end book with nudity on the inside that most don't care for. It's always exceptional 👌🏽

I really do not get why a home has to "look expensive". I want my home to look welcoming, comfortable, timeless. I don't like "trends" and I'm not particularly interested in "luxe". I appreciate your design style and I'm sure it's what many people aspire to. I watch your vlogs because I love decor videos, which indirectly give me inspiration, just not in the same way as you may define it. It's fun to watch transformations too.

@houseofvalentina, how many hydrangea stems do you use in your pottery barn vase? I keep wanting to order from afloral, and I have some similar vases to you, but I never know how many stems to order for that type of vase.
I recently bought a tall vase from Pottery Barn and a smaller one I put them together on my mantle and I bought 2 stems also from Pottery Barn

Love your style. Whenever I am decorating I check out your thoughts on any given room. The only items I have ever disliked are the paper mache vase with lid with bobbly bits and the white vase with bobbly bits . They look like growths from Dr Pimple Popper or the corona virus image we are all familiar with. Is it just me 🤷♀️. Love love love your channel. Don’t mean to be critical but for me more offensive than signage and clutter 😜xx

I love so many of your design ideas. Great inspiration! But! Yes, but. Enough of useless display books and tchotchkes like the rings. If it can’t be put in a washer, I won’t buy it. Clothes included. We norms can’t do this. Tell me who cleans for you and I will hire them. Point being, if you’re giving Amazon advice, I would really appreciate you speak to a more average Amazon shopper who just needs a nightstand for crying out loud.
She has her own home and design business. She's simply sharing what she likes and uses in her projects. If you have better ideas, start your own channel! The rest of us are her for her passion and great advice.
