The first Friday the 13th was a classic even the cut version. This one, not bad, not terrific, but has hot girls and butthole guys getting killed by Jason, I was entertained. I give this strong Matinee but not as classic as the original. NICE REVIEW!
The movie turns 10 today! Actually the first installment in the series I saw in the theater I agree the kills are awesome and it’s funny in spots but it’s another failed remake that just repeats the same beats as the many sequels

I remember renting it looking at the back cover and not recognising it was Jared, when the opening scene credits popped up I freaked out haha. Honestly I loved the movie
Yeah, this movie is a reboot of the 1st 3 films. Its far from being a great Friday the 13th film, but I can't say it was as bad as Jason goes to hell.. its as bad as Jason X. It wasn't that great, but it had some new kills.. but story, its the same as it always has been. Its a very, very low matinee
The only redeeming quality this movie had was casting Jared Padaleki aka Sam Winchester in the role. Hell if they combined Friday the 13th with Supernatural we'd have a fucking awesome kickass film!
I've still yet to see this movie. The trailer instantly lost me at "Jason hiding in the shower behind the girl". I saw that and immediately thought "Nope! Not MY money!"
This movie was stupid beyond stupidity the only good part of the movie is that the people that was watching it we were like Mystery Science Theater 3000 that's what made
