This was a snippet of a programme from about 1995 showing how a few of the BBC2 idents were made. This was recorded by TVARK so please, no credit to me :) Enjoy :)
@gallese09 Indeed. Some of the idents from the public channels in my country were also made by very ingenious (don't know if I spelled that right...) tricks. The ones we have now are nothing compared to those from that time: what we have now is just some computer-animated 'something'
Those times are gone when a new ident could revolutionise a channel.

Those 2s rock!
Those idents were back in 2014, but recieved only Nine idents, and Northern Ireland got all the BBC Two 1991-2001 idents

I still love the 2... but not when its a tent or a sunroof or a mirror or a spinny... filmy... thingy! BRING BACK THE OLD IDENTS!!!!!!!!!!
My guess would be 'Gill Sans', I know for certain that the BBC logo itself uses that font and I thought I read somewhere that the '2' is the same.
It's very close, though not exact
@@EternityMediaGroup Its a modified version of Gill Sans.
