- To continue my quest to vlog every restaurant on the strip and downtown, my stop this week brings us to the New York New York where I'm finally trying out Chin Chin. I've probably walked by Chin Chin over a hundred times and I've never been inside. Time to change that and try as much food as possible because

VWS: Where do I start with all the food scene crimes lol. Wontons $22.00, Chicken Salad $18 ( and was mostly noodles), $22 for Bok Choy ( I just bought 3 pounds for $3 lol), $4 Steam Rice ( when did rice get some expensive). But the food visually looked tasty, hair cut looked nice and your narration of the food elements was fire 🔥. See you Tuesday Peace ✌️ out .

However, recently when my son & I were at a restaurant here in Nashville I saw Honey Walnut Shrimp on the menu & remembered seeing you enjoy it on your channel so I gave it a try and I am obsessed! It is so delicious. Thank you so much! Even though we may not be in Vegas we still benefit from your reviews & we appreciate you so much!

Love chin chin...they used to have a more extensive menu which was amazing...thru the years, they have scaled back...we still like going to dine.. but it's not like it used to be... love your videos

Looks like a nice place! Ribs looked amazing. My only experience with similar Chinese cuisine is PF Changs.
At PF you need a gallon of water after you leave the joint. Sodium city....yikes

Interesting choices of diff apps and mains 😮🤔😂...you know picky me 😋...have to admit, you did order a few of my fav dishes 😂...but the look wasn't what I was expecting 😢, but overall not a bad dinner as long as you enjoyed it 👍...have a great weekend til Tues ❤😊

Too many AYCE sushi ( plus appetizers) places (some very close to the strip and even on the strip) at around $30 to justify those prices !!!

Thank you for the strip place review, all the food looked delicious, sad to hear that mapo tofu was not that good since it is also one of my favorite dishes.
I was also very sad about the tofu. I love mapo tofu and this was not the version for me. Otherwise though, some good stuff here. Thanks for watching!

I always wondered why Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas serve sushi. I have never ordered sushi at Chinese restaurants. I also noticed that Chinese food is served at Japanese restaurants. I never order Chinese food at Japanese restaurants. To me it's like ordering spaghetti carbonara at taco stands. It may be good, but I wouldn't think that it would be a specialty item. BTW, Trattoria Reggiano has a great spaghetti carbonara. You should try that restaurant at Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes.

@Lulu-ki6ds soooooo good. It's changed staff over the years for the worse but they still have solid sandwiches and a great black & white cookie. When Carnegie was still around ( pre covid mirage ) they had the best matzo ball soup

They used to have a mango sushi roll there called the Bikini Bottom that I LOVED but they took it off the menu. 😢I also do really like that Okinawa Snow dessert.

Love the title - adds pizazz! Food was all really well presented, pity some of flavours were a miss. Despite prawn toast being made for "western tastes", don't care, it just looked so good. And that dessert, oh yes! Lots of leftovers in the Shin household this week?

Another great video. Curious if the ambiance was as loud as it seemed? The mic was struggling to dampen the cacophony of the dining room which doesn't usually happen!
I first got there at the lunch rush and was sat next to a very loud group of 20 having a good time. Once the lunch rush died down, the sound becomes much more manageable. Thanks for watching!

There are certain dishes that chinese restaurants are measured on and you gotta make a decent mapo tofu... you knew it was going to be bad just looking at it. While the ribs looked great, it felt like this was a "trying to be chinese" restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if the head chef wasn't chinese. Though that was one cool dessert.

It's well executed food with solid level quality ingredients but not anything revolutionary or crazy unique except for that dessert. I would go back just for that Okinawa snow lol. I probably ordered for at least 8 people here thought so you're looking at about $40-$50 a person here. You could definitely get a decent lunch on the strip for $25-$35 so this is certainly more of a pricey lunch option. But it was packed with a long line waiting when I was filming as you could probably tell by the initial sounds. Thanks for watching!

Hi Shin!! I remember Chin Chin as a high school kid where I grew up in Encino, CA. It was a small restaurant back then and it featured their Chinese chicken salad. And let me tell you it was famous. I have been to the Chin Chin in Vegas several times, in fact I try to go there every time I stay at the Delano. I always get their sushi. But I’ve never had any of the sushi you got. I highly recommend it though, if you get the right sushi! Thanks for another great video!

Why are the people in the restaurants you go to so loud? The restaurants that I go to are nice and peaceful, you can relax, but the ones you've gone to in Vegas, the people are loud and I can barely hear you why the difference? And if the people aren't loud the music is, not exactly the kind of atmosphere I like to eat in.
