Awesome Schindler 2600 MRL Traction Glass Elevators at LHR Heathrow Airport in London, England

Video Recorded on May 27, 2024: These elevators are much like the other one in the previous video, but these are fortunately not as busy as the one on the other end of London Heathrow International Airport, so this pretty much features and at least more proper take of these unique Schindler elevators in which I’ve never seen these fixtures of notice the replaced vandal resistant call button for the one elevator car I did not ride in the video, but everything else are all the rectangle buttons. I also love the chimes too! So glad I got to experience something unique before my flight is ready for boarding as I’ve seen plenty of videos of these particular Schindler elevators from overseas! Installed in 2014.

The FI MXB & FI MXV mix is an awesome mix.
The buttons & indicators other than the vandal resistant call button is FI MXB, the vandal resistant button is FI MXV

This is definitely awesome. Mumbai Airport Terminal 2 has them too but with low pitched button beeps, chimes, and the extremely rare L-Fixtures.

Jim when I was a young child a mall near my home had these controllers though Schindler doesn’t market them now because they have shifted to touch sensitive controllers which they don’t market in US/Canada but they do market in other countries.

You can actually cancel the call on this Schindler. Is this the only one you saw this?
