I love this video, thank you! I think it’s important to remember that you are allowed to buy new things!! The point is to use them all the way up! That’s being sustainable
Your apartment is BEAUTIFUL!!! 😭 like every single inch of your space is so calming and put together perfectly. I watched your apartment tour several times as well. I REALLY like your taste and you know how to make everything look fantastic! Sending you love from Dallas Texas. 💚🌻🌿🌄
I love your aesthetic, cinematography & you seem like a sweet person, so not hating, but this is far from sustainable. Sustainable is built off of the R’s by order of importance: Reduce, Reuse, Refurbish, Repair, Rot, Recycle. Buying recyclable things or brand new things made out of “sustainable” material is not much better than buying from other materials from an environmental stand point. I don’t think you need to live by these things. I’m not perfect either, but I also don’t market myself as being “sustainable”. I wish you would keep sustainable out of your title(maybe “sustainablish?” would seem a bit more accurate & clever)as this encourages misconceptions people have about sustainability & it encourages consumerism which is anti-sustainable. I think if your were honest about how for along you are in your sustainability journey & admit that your improving but not quite “perfect” like a lot of sustainability influencers claim they are it would show a lot of humility & a lot of people would find it relatable.
This is a nice kitchen, it looks really cozy and I like the vibe you've got going. That shelf looks cool, and it's innovative without cabinets. I will say, similarly to a few other comments: this is not a sustainable kitchen. There's nothing inherently wrong with not being zero waste, we live in a consumer society. However, I don't think you class your video as a sustainable kitchen if you're buying brand new for a lot of your products. Buying second hand, reducing the amount of stuff we own, they're all far more sustainable alternatives.
I know the aesthetic is tempting but Please consider buying secondhand instead of supporting companies producing new materials :( shelves are easy to find at vintage shops. try to avoid almonds and drinking almond milk for its impact on the environment.
This is my favorite kitchen tour to date. Wonderful style, creative, and convenient! Thank you!

Very urban outfitters vibe
So cute, but a consistent aesthetic often comes at the price of buying mostly new things :(
