I have to admit the saw is a bit flimsy. AItough it works well and is ok for a first attempt I will make a sturdier one from thicker wood.

Nice saw, it's really light weight even if not the most sturdy. I made one from red oak and it weights about 2 pounds or 1 kg and is very sturdy just heavy. I really like these style saws because they collapse down so well and if one wants to go utra light hiking, just the paracord, pins, and blade are needed.
