I have to thank you , my boysvare now eating fresh beets , boiled with some bay leaf salt and potatoes. We have been cooking on our firepit , not like being in the woods but we gather wood in a nearby forest , at least two nights a week we cook outside , simply and healthy . Looking forward to spring s I we can camp and fish , thank you for inspiring us to be a tiny bit closer to nature.

Can you tell me what temperature it was on the day you filmed. I think it would be interesting to either put this information in the description of each video or as a visual graphic on the screen. Many people watch your videos from around the world and so are not aware of climate conditions you are camping in. Also more details as to items used whilst camping such as brand of saw, axe, all weather canvas jacket, sled, knife etc… I really enjoy that your videos are just the sounds of nature as you go about your day in the wilderness without talking. I think your are great with using a variety of camera angles to add a variety of interest too… Looking forward to watching your next adventure 🏕

Ever think about trying bards craft again I’ve been a loyal fan for 2 1/2 years and would love to see it again. Not that I don’t think it’s amazing to see the wilderness, Idk I just miss it thanks for all you do Lucas bye.

Fabulous - yet another fully immersive experience. I can almost smell the woodsmoke ! Reminds me very much of the Juvuln lake area in Sweden, where I have visited and camped/fished many times over the years. Happy days :)
you might need a smaller wood axe at some point if it helps. it helps make the smaller "kindling" wood. in the cold, if you stack it like JENGA it should get the air through it pretty quick. well, I was using a stove, so I had to stack it like that

It's quite okay raw. Perhaps if you have a weak stomach or if its warm outside it's good to cook it fully
