Amanda, you just shine with life, kindness and wellbeing. I love watching you and you reinvigorate my stitching! Thank you so much for being you and sharing with us! I love all your projects and think you are just the cat’s meow 😸
Hi Samantha, Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed your flosstube video and all that you shared. Your Mirabilias are so beautiful! I love Owl Forest embroidery and have enjoyed stitching several of their designs. I am almost finished with Emerald City, am stitching on 100 Owls, and have completed part 1 of the new Treasure Island mystery SAL. Looking forward to your next video. Happy stitching 😊
Catching up with floss tube after getting my second hip replacement surgery last week...no real pain but I had forgotten the general "discomfort" in the middle of the night. Watching you at 1:30 a.m. sure helped! Emerald City is absolutely gorgeous!! And Bluebell made me sigh out loud at how lovely she is....love it all!
I love watching your videos. I think I say that every time I comment. Your videos being me so much joy and inspiration. I had to go buy the sunflower fairy your daughter was stitching as I was watching it in your video. All your Mirabilias get added to my wishlist as 123 stitch. I’m going to have to live over a hundred years to stitch all the things. 😆
Enjoyed your video Samantha!Especially your enthousiasm. So much fun to see how your Stargazer is turning out! I love Jane Hopkins, gorgeous fabric choice. Big hug Cindy
Hi, Samantha! I am ordering fabric for Treasure Island as well! We'll be stitching it together! Treasure Island is one of my favorite classic novels; I am so glad you mentioned this design, because I did not know it existed until your videos! Happy stitching, can't wait for your next video!
I so enjoyed your video this morning! I saved it to enjoy with my morning coffee and some good stitching. Your Pandemic Sampler is stunning! You picked the most perfect fabric. And thanks to you I have some new flosstube friends to meet. I have Butterfly fairy and 100 owl kitted! If you want we can start them together :)
Your stitching projects are fabulous! I’m currently stitching Queen of Freedom and I’ve enjoyed it so much I’ve just purchased Venetian Opulence - the colours are beautiful! It’s funny when you are stitching Mirabilias how it just seems like blocks of colour, but when you look at it from a distance, the shading and movement is amazing!
Always love spending time with you, Samantha. The fabric choice for 2020 Pandemic is brilliant. I completed that chart and it is above the fireplace where I see it as I stitch. I also used Missus Sedas silks. I can’t wait to follow your progress.
Your projects are so lovely. And I so enjoy your enthusiasm for cross stitch and all the different projects you do. I have a question. Would you tell us about the painting behind you? It is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for your fposstubes. I so enjoy them. you always make me smile.
Thanks for another great video Samantha! I found your flosstube a few weeks ago and started from the beginning and have now caught up. You are so fun to share my stitching time with! I love seeing your progress and how happy stitching makes you. I think I may have met you last summer at Lizzy B's, but I didn't know it was you! LOL I am also in Winnipeg 😊
Still loving the pr ogress on all of your cross stitching. I have started 100 owls also. I love it.The mill hill bead kits you mentioned, look so pretty. I have bought a few kits but have never started one yet. I've been watching all of your videos.
Thank you for another great video Samantha! You are great company while i stitch. Your Emerald City is looking so amazing. I can’t wait to see it finished. Summer Quaker is going to be a fun SAL. I can’t wait to do it with you.
Your birthday sampler so beautiful I love all the nautical motifs, I might have to think of that one for my June birthday. I love the mirabellia patterns , I want to do the nightingale one but I’m still new cross stitch. I’m working on the cuckoo bird sampler .
Another very enjoyable video…thank you! I now have Summer Quaker all kitted. Thank you for the inspiration to stitch on a blue fabric. I’m finishing up an old Mill Hill kit just now. It just needed a couple of nights of beading to get it finished.
I enjoyed your video! I totally agree about the weight of some stitched mirabilia pieces. I’ve done 15. The heaviest one was ‘Crystal Symphony’. I was glad I did it on monaco- it needed the heavier weight fabric!
excited to see 100 owls. I started that one this year. I do everything on a monthly rotation and there are 23 sections I think? so it will be nice to see if I can finish it in 2 years even. It will be interesting to see your owls come to life.
I have spent the whole day in your company, and it has been a pleasure to listen to you and enjoy your cross-stitching, I am ending my day in a much better frame of mind than what I started with, thank you.
Thanks for another lovely video, Samantha! I’m definitely joining your Summer Quaker SAL. I haven’t found a fabric I like yet though. We don’t have such a wide choice here in Wales as you do. Hopefully I’ll be successful before August 1st!
I began following Debora Carroll when she set up a stitch along for sambriestitches Margaretha Sypkens which I am madly in love with. And now you have inspired me to do the Pandemic Sampler which I downloaded ages ago. I literally paused your video and dug through my fabrics to see if I had something that would work. I have a piece of Night Sky 18 ct Aida by Fiber on a Whim. It's more gray than brown but the colors are popping. I'm doing just the DMC 832 border across the top to make sure it fits. Not gonna lie, I may cry if it doesn't fit but if it does it will be fabulous. As for étoile I have used it once for a rose. I stitched Bletchley Park which is all in black which I did in Anchor. The rose is the only color and like you said the étoile is subtle which is what I wanted because the rose is not meant to flash. It is supposed to be meaningful. Your Wizard of Oz is more than amazing. It is stupendous! Truly. Yep the lion is the best. Of course I'm born Aug 10th. 😆 I enjoyed your company too. Thanks.
Love your personalizations on OFE, thé little jewels/beads and the sparkly floss are great touches! I just started Treasure Island last night and 100 Owls has been on my radar since I discovered crossstitch, just been intimidated by the size! I thought Tiny Modernist was British! Mainly as she seems featured in the UK magazines and the called for fabric in a few designs. Also love to support fellow Canucks
I will be excited to see you start Storyteller. I love mine although I really struggled with my fabric choice. I think it is a good idea to have only one TW going at a time though.
Samantha, I love watching you and catching up on where you are with your WIPs! You have inspired me to stitch the Emerald City pattern and will try adding some special beads as you have done - I just fell in love with yours! Just curious on whether or not you purchased the hand-dyed threads from Owlforest Embroidery? Thanks for all you share - I just love watching!
I’m so excited to have you join us in the my first soda Sal!! The sampler wip with the huge flower is gorgeous, love seeing that come to life! Also I absolutely love seeing what you come up with on the wizard of oz piece! It’s truly stunning and so much fun! ❤❤
Hi Samantha , I've received the floss from Owl forest for Treasure Island! Beautiful! Have you started stitching? I've downloaded the first installment and wondering if an English "Treasure Island" is available? Absolutely love your floss tube!!
The fabric your zodiac is on is absolutely stunning! I love every project you've worked on. Your enthusiasm for your projects is so infectious. I want to touch all of my projects too. I've never done a Mirabilia, but I hope to some day. Yours are gorgeous. I can't wait to see that dragon too. So many fun things.
When I stitch a Teresa Wentzler- I put every thread number into an excel program because the program will sort low to high and also remove duplicates. Then I know exactly which DMC threads I need.
Thanks for another lovely visit Samantha! When you showed your Teresa Wentzler project, I was immediately taken back to over 30 years ago working night shift and one of the ladies I worked with was stitching on Teresa Wentzler's English Cottage Garden. It was magnificent. It's funny how easy it is to remember certain times based on our stitching isn't it? Your projects are beautiful! Emerald City is so gorgeous! Another new to me Canadian designer is Erin Elizabeth designs. She is a sister-in-law to Shannon Christine Designs. Thanks as always for sharing your joy and passion. Happy stitching!
I just started working on my first mill hill. I bought it months ago but I was afraid to start it. After few days I added to my wishes tens of mill hill
Thank you for the mention! Your Mirabilia pieces are amazing! I can’t wait to see how the 2020 Pandemic Sampler turns out on that fabulous fabric. Another amazing flosstube!
I enjoyed a lot watching your video, as always. Looking at the progress on your wips, and the different fabrics, and threads, I just love it. Getting ready for the, live in the sunshine, SAL. Waiting for my pattern to arrive, it takes some time, and trying to decide on the fabric. I liked your fabric a lot, but could you tell me what count is it? Also, I have a couple more questions. Since I haven't stitched on such high count, when you stitch on 36ct and up do you stitch one over two or two over two? Looking forward to your answer and your next video 🧵🪡
Thank you so much for the mention, Samantha! I am truly touched. ❤Can't wait to see your start on Treasure Island as I'm doing that one too. And your request to see my fridge was heard loud and clear! 😊
QUESTION where did you get the Missus Silk Floss? I love all your projects. I started my first Mirabilia and I am loving it. I just received my kits for Emerald City and Alice in Wonderland. I’m excited to get started on those. I also downloaded Treadure Island, still need to Kit that one up.
Oh My Gosh! Another great flosstube! So many beautiful finishes, wips, and plans! Love love love all of them! I’m still waiting on my order of miss cherry blossom. But I have kitted up September Sapphire fairy and am going to start her today. Wish me luck. Happy stitching!
Hello Samantha! I cannot believe how gorgeous your zodiac by Tiny Modernist is turning out!!! That lion is pretty fabulous and the crescent 🌙 also looks amazing (and amazing to stitch!!)! Super excited to start Clean Day with you and everyone who's stitching along in their first Soda Stitch !🎉 Can't wait for Treasure Island either ! Their first release did not disappoint. 😍 As usual, your stitching is beautiful with classy taste.
I love your flosstube and I am following you from Italy! I would like to join the #treasureislandsal and I already pulled the colors, but I am not sure about the fabric. I have a big enough piece of vintage country mocha, but the called for is country mocha. Is it the side of the fabrci that is not muddled? Because in the pictures of Owl Forest Embroidery seems to be the side that is muddled. I checked and the number 3609/3009 is Vintage Country Moca. I am itching to start, but I prefer ot be sure that the fabric is correct! Thank you 🏝
I recently found your FlossTube. I’ve been wanting to stitch Summer Quaker! I just ordered it…it’s on its way to me! I’ll wait to start in August and will stitch along with you!!
Going to start my first Nora Corbett Reindeer in July. You will keep me moving forward on Jane Hopkins too. Started her in January but then set it aside. Love your style!
Always love seeing your channel come up. Your work is beautiful. How do you store your DMC or if you have already showed us what flosstube would it be? Thank you
I keep telling myself that I need to stitch stargazer. Ive never done mirabellia or a nora corbet and im wondering which chart would be the best to start!
I’m so confused. Are we allowed to buy from Owl Forest Embroidery, because of the Russian embargo we have right now? I just need to know what to do. Ty. I love your projects!
The fabric for your zodiac piece is gorgeous.
Amanda, you just shine with life, kindness and wellbeing. I love watching you and you reinvigorate my stitching! Thank you so much for being you and sharing with us! I love all your projects and think you are just the cat’s meow 😸

Beautiful WIPs! I completely agree w/ you about Mirabilia ribbons. My favorite thing about the designs is how the ribbons look like real satin!
Thanks for keeping me company today. I always love seeing the variety of your projects.
You were excellent company for my Sunday afternoon stitching time! Thank you!! Stargazer is looking so good 😍
Fabulous stitching again and always with a smile hx
Love watching you! Your so amazing so many beautiful stitching projects
I love your idea of doing one zodiac sign a month! And I love that pattern. We have similar tastes!

You look so happy. I can see how beautiful the Mirabella designs are. I love them, too. Maybe one day I will do one.

Hello, can you please tell me where you purchase your DMC floss?
I keep telling myself that I need to stitch stargazer. Ive never done mirabellia or a nora corbet and im wondering which chart would be the best to start!
What bead size and colours did you use on the city please ♥
Hi Kristy! I use mill hill seed beads and mill hill magnifica when I can get my hands on them !
@@HyggeStitcher thank you ♥
Is there a way to get the 2020 sampler if you don't do Instagram?
I’m so confused. Are we allowed to buy from Owl Forest Embroidery, because of the Russian embargo we have right now? I just need to know what to do. Ty. I love your projects!
I, too, would like to know about purchasing from Owl Forest Embroidery. How that all works and what kind of hassle it may entail.
