She is a victim of capitalism with no safety net. We all like to think homeless people are different or weird, but we’re all just a series of bad luck events away from living in their shoes. Once your homeless the feeling of hopelessness sets in and then drugs seem like a good way to numb the pain. We don’t need to abolish private property all together, but we need to make the bottom that people can hit more humane. Sweden still has private property and has solved their homelessness.

My dad became chaplain at the oldest mental health institution in NYS - originally called the NY State Lunitic Asylum- in 1966. This type of large residential institution had been the permanent home for thousands of incurable people like her, but taxpayers lost patience relative to other priorities and those who could not be legally locked up were pushed out onto the streets by 1980. People want to help, but do not themselves want to pay more in taxes to pay the high cost of permanent care.
This is so true. My belief is for the good of the many, not the one. This means that sometimes we sacrifice to make society as a whole better. Taxes are a small price to pay divided equally. How many souls could be saved and how prosperous could we be by providing?!?!?!
The reason why the mental health institutes closed is because of Ronald Reagan closed them and took the funding. He also stole money from social security and it was never paid back in. The problem isn’t about tax cuts but about reappropriating them, to for profit jails n prisons because those are our mental institutions today. It’s obviously a lot cheaper to house n medicate people than jail them.
When has the tax payer ever had a say in anything like this?this is not because taxpayers didnt want to pay for them but the establishment wanted the money in their pockets
There were other factors as well, poor treatment, abuse, experimentation, disease, etc. Then along came the magic pills, where, if you wave a magic wand and take a couple of pills, you'll be able to function in society and your mental illness will be kept at bay. Not a lot of great solutions out there, but bringing back a few asylums would be a start for some of the more extreme cases we are seeing these days.

Wow, this is tremendously sad. I went back and watched her first one before this one and how much she has declined and such little time is heartbreaking 💔
Do you really think she has give up hope ? From her still portrait and her grace I think she is a survivor and at the end of the day she has love to give as she knows ... i agree but also agree hope seems like a luxury somedays for me ...
She's become very mentally unstable than the former interviews! It's like Caroline. Caroline was normal for quite some while but suddenly she totally lost grip of reality. Now she talks like this woman about voices, energy, electronics, machinrs, and things I don't understand . I just understand their mental health is very poor. Is it the meth? Some people can use meth for ten years and they seem totally normal. I don't understand this but people are different and react differently to drugs I guess.
This breaks my heart all I can think about is how badly she must be being taken advantage of out there. My god this hurts my heart so bad it's making me feel physically ill, nauseous 😭 Please God keep her safe, let her find a way to eat each day & find a safe dry place to lay her head each night, please show her a way off the streets, please help her. Ive never prayed like this before but I don't know what else to do.
Sad I wish she could get medical drugs to help her like an RX and good health coverage and a great social worker to get her a decent place to live and ger her through weekly talk therapy and help her keep her place . And a great local church to support her and fellowship I wish her the best.
I live in Scotland and we have a huge problem here with drugs and alcohol but our government do try to help these individuals and their families. When I watch the news I see American politicians speaking about America being this great country but I don't that at all. Watching these type of videos tells me that if you are poor and have issues in America then your at the bottom of the pile. Having friends who have lived in America they tell me that there's a huge population of homeless people who get no help at all. It's totally disgusting to leave human beings to live the way this lady lives. Its barbaric. Xxxxxxx
I think it would be great if the IRS gave a choice on our taxes to either support prisons or the homeless mentally ill! It's criminal how little support and resources they have while prisoners have shelter, tvs, and cats!
Many ex convicts are released from prison and back to the streets of homelessness because of lack of skills, drug use, their charges, no family foundation, no income
So sad to witness the mental breakdown and delusions these people go through. Yes mark she is beautiful. Her dress is gorgeous and in spite of everything, she appears to be kept well.
I believe that she does truly believe that she is being persecuted and threatened all the time. And she seems extremely smart, but perhaps is hearing voices that are confusing her view. Whether from within or from the world, and I think if someone helped her with her mental health she could be alright. The hardest thing is trusting, even when you are not homeless, even if you aren’t mentally ill. So it must be extremely hard for her.
So sad to see just how badly Paulette has deteriorated in 3 years. Before, she was articulate & made complete sense. Now it's clear to see that she is mostly a stranger to reality, presumably thanks to drug use. If only she had felt ready for rehab when her younger son managed to track her down a few years ago, we might have been looking a mentally healthy Paulette by now. 😢
For some reason this interview really broke my heart. This poor woman is living in hell and it is clear that even with all that, she has love and forgiveness in her heart.

Do you really think she has give up hope ? From her still portrait and her grace I think she is a survivor and at the end of the day she has love to give as she knows ... i agree but also agree hope seems like a luxury somedays for me ...
As a Mom, when she spoke about her boys it tore me up.
Good morning, Mark. I hope you have a good day.
Good energy and a big hug to this little sweetie 💐
She has some very brilliant insights. So sad she is on the streets.
Well, imagine yourself out there in between the wolves, as a woman, what do you think will happen?
Paulette has some beautiful words of wisdom weaving in and out of the jumble in her mind.
Xxxxxxx
Bless her ❤ my heart truly goes out to her. I hope she will be ok
Through it all she’s still a lady. 🥺
bless her
I think it would be great if the IRS gave a choice on our taxes to either support prisons or the homeless mentally ill! It's criminal how little support and resources they have while prisoners have shelter, tvs, and cats!
Many ex convicts are released from prison and back to the streets of homelessness because of lack of skills, drug use, their charges, no family foundation, no income
Love is the greatest gift of all. She does have pearls of wisdom to share. 😢❤
Mark this is the type of person we should be helping, not the likes of Mr. Rebecca
Completamente de acuerdo.
Bingo!!
So nice of you to judge . 😅
@@horaciolopez8394ditto
She is Rebecca just older. Drugs..mental health issues...homelessness...delusional same issues.
Reminds me of Caroline's ramblings. So very sad. She's a sweet lady and she deserves a lot better.
Poor thing. I hope she can get help and be happy
Wow now things totally makes sense thanks mark
Sending healing light and love to you beautiful! Peace
Honestly for being on the street for 20 years and being 63 years old she’s beautiful 🌸 but her mind is so… far from years of abuse 😞 so sad
😢💔
😊Good morning, Mark 🌻
For some reason this interview really broke my heart. This poor woman is living in hell and it is clear that even with all that, she has love and forgiveness in her heart.
"It's like a secret. Only for me to keep." hit particularly hard with me.
I doubt I would survive as well as this lady has, god bless her soul ❤
Sad to see
Yes but Beautiful too - her still has so much beauty - and we need to see this esp . as the beautiful woman Mark portrayed her as too - have a lovely day - and oh my tears .. "you're still beautiful" that hit me hard
Ummmm can Mark can you start a gofundme for her. God bless this woman 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This is sad 😔 she is suffering from mental illness and she had/ has no one around her that cared enough to help her get the proper help.
Miss Paulette has sprinkled bits of TRUTH throughout her words if you take the time & truly LISTEN.
For our struggle is not against flesh & blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world & against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Thank you Miss Paulette for sharing
You truly are a beautiful spiritual woman

Jesus is the answer but the whole WWG1WGA you are parroting is the very oath that the fallen angels swore against the Lord God on Mt. Hermon in the book of Enoch Ch. 6.
Were you aware of that? Qanon is a massive deception to misdirect good well intended Christians. Ask yourself why you are now reciting the same oath these fallen angels recited back in those days.
Do you really know what you’re doing? The path to hell is paved with good intentions. The adversary will come disguised as an angel of light.
I’ll pray for you. 🫶
Out of all those you help I hope she is prioritised.
True
She reminds me of Caroline 😢
Hurting for her. 20 years on the streets. So sad.

I believe her she’s just tired. I would be totally behind her and her beliefs. She’s just exhausted. Bless her, wishing her strength.

Normal conversation...then." I am the Mother to all children"..... Mark said...."excuse me" then Mark just let her talk. She kind of comes out of it at the end....and seems like she knows where she is. Poor thing
"Society doesn't allow me to have help of any kind" Paulette quote 😢
I pray for beautiful things for this lady, and when they start happening,I hope she feels worthy of every one of them 🙏
This is heartbreaking. She is someone’s daughter and mother. I don’t know what she needs but I will pray she receives it.
🙏 praying hard for this one
