Greg, what a story! I remember you telling me shortly after it happened about this crazy naked man on the 4th floor tossing stuff off the fire escape down to the ground below. Your comment about first responder reaction being VERY different in Skid Row vs Beverly Hills makes a huge statement!
This is fascinating. Thank you for sharing your stories. I've been obsessed with the hotel Cecil for a long time and I'm excited to hear your stories. Must be scary though living around that craziness.
I’ve spoken to Greg through a mutual group and he’s amazing with all his experiences and the fact he lives right there within the Cecil. So pleased he’s brought it to TH-cam and sure this will be huge! Look forward to more content greg ❤
Excellent, Greg. Very well done first episode. I am in the group and have asked you a few questions myself, which you always answered. Thank you for all the time you put in. I look forward to any future episodes - I think I would need a wee bit of general anaesthesia to live in there! 🤣 It looks beautiful, though ☺. I am from Ireland and my eyes are like 👀 🍿 watching this! It's better than Netflix! 🤣 God bless that fella, too. I hope he got the help he very clearly needs 🙏❤. Stay safe! Dia dhaoibh! 🙏☘
Hi Greg, your videos are fascinating thank you for sharing. Do you have any more stories about your experience at the Cecil ? I could listen to your videos all day 😆 Where you there long and did you manage to stay safe? I hope so . From clips I have seen online it looks like a very intimidating place to stay, hope you managed to get out safely. All the best x
I lived on the third floor for years. Room 338. Every floor was weird. The fourth floor was eventually one of the floors that was remodeled and turned into the Stay Hotel
if you think, the 1st thing it to protect everyone and themselfs, they didnt do anything to keep people bk bc they new to stay back, that guy wasnt infact on smt, he was thinking someone MADE him do it yk? it you listen to how the speaks he sounds scared or like he dosnt wanna but hes gotta yk?
Fire department are there for fires, and medical. Why would they park their truck right where the guy is throwing stuff onto the street. Police would be doing the hands on stuff, arresting, or putting the guy on a hold.
..Because they will lose their jobs and can't afford to feed their family, when this whole episode goes south and the dude gets shot because he charged a cop with a knife. Stop restraining the cops and defunding them, and prosecuting them... Go watch a Dirty Harry movie and see why it was safer 60 years ago...
Who? Me? If I seem odd it’s because I want to be respectful to Elisa’s family and friends. Also, because I live here, I don’t want to upset the current management.
When I be a man I will make a hotel like this it would be haunted it will be safe in the rooms I will put those things that lock the doors of the room when you enter your room

I love your sales pitch for the water. "Dont drink it" 😂😅
This is a perfect example as of how marginal people are dealt with…They are overlooked…
Thanks Greg, really interesting & informative about life in the Cecil, never a dull moment
Holy smokes!! That hotel is a portal to Hell!
Yes, but not in the way that you think.
Great work, Greg! The bottled Cecil Water is clever.
Aww Greg, you're a legend! Stay safe. We're all rooting for you. I'm here from fb group! X
Can we please get more of these story times… riveting!
Cops probably know him. He goes in and out the system and they don’t like dealing with him. He ain’t doing anything serio enough and knows it.

@@onlysusie14 you need a section 8 voucher. It’s ok. What you would expect.
@@sconni666 you hear anything ? Or just druggie people ? Thank you for responding Take care!
@@onlysusie14 it’s basically the skid row crowd to be honest. 35% of the people you don’t gotta worry about. Lots of drugs.
@@sconni666 thank you. God bless

Thanks 4 response .
Happy New Year 🎉
Happy New Year 🎆
I live in a gov funded building. Cecil is that. They looked at him and said drugs. Manager issue. I deal with this daily.
Excellent documentary
Keep the videos coming ! Stay safe always
Check out episode 2 that dropped on Monday. Please like and subscribe and share with your friends! 👻

No one noticed floor above window flashing lights
The lights were flashing in the building because someone pulled the fire alarm.
Thank you for sharing your stories. It is so sad that the police/LAFD did nothing. Was that a gunshot in the room towards the end?
I think that's the lights flashing inside when the fire alarm gets pulled.
Do u still live @ Cecil? No TH-cam videoed since 10 months ago
Yes. The people that help me have been busy. Sorry.
@lifeatthececilwithgreg can i live there? I live in Illinois but homeless. I plan on moving to LA.
@@onlysusie14🕳️ NO DONT!
That's actually pretty cool you're selling the water of the Cecil. Dark idea...but great idea! I'll buy it. Won't drink it, but I would buy it.

I hope u still record with your phone as u definitely get the best footage. I can’t imagine what goes on down there on NYE
Best hotel in LA for sure.

This guy reminds me of Woody Allen. Same mannerisms
Creepy this scene😵💫
Is hotel Cecil still being used as low cost apartment? I wonder how much you pay for your room monthly?
Yes, it’s still low income housing. Rent depends on various factors.
900 to 1200 you can't make more than 2400 a year.
Damn thats a lot of money for living in something like this. @@janellcrews6108
Great content
Way to go Greg!
So the cops don’t . . .
Protect and serve the public
Bash the door tazor, restrain him
In the icu detox him then jail
That's how it's done everywhere else except Skid Row.
