very entertaining as always, but honestly are we gonna talk really about the horrible state of game? i'm seriously thinking of quitting, i almost hit rank 1 on the leaderboards this season, and was planning on starting to play show 6, but now i honestly don't know if i wanna do my daily battles anymore, denies left and right, invisible moves, frame drop after frame drop, game freeze while ur opponent farms u down as u watch, it's starting to really get on my nerves, and no game is worth that, i play 25 battles a day, and i have impression that atlast 10 of them weree decided by this or that lag, sorry for the rant but i'm getting fed up
I hope they’ll give Palossand a stronger ground move. In the MSG game it can learn a move called Scorching Sands, I think that would be perfect for Palo as it quite literally is made of sand.

For the open GL early this season I was running an ABB team with Trevenant, Lanturn, Whiscash. (Grass double water) it was a ton of fun and I had some moderate success. Then the remix cup came around and Trevenant and Lanturn are now banned. I liked the team so much that I decided to make a team inspired by the ABB team so I swapped Trevenant for Drifloon and I replaced Lanturn with Togedemaru. My team is no longer an ABB line but it's a ton of fun and very spice.

Where there are so many fliers, I wouldn't dare using triple ground
In Retro Cup not too many Flying types around other than Charizard mainly and Pidgeot.
But still a painful matchup though with no real moves to pressure flying type + no fast move damage.
I submitted battles today, and I'm pretty sure I called it the great league premier cup 😅 hope that doesn't matter

It's a pretty solid team.
The only problem with the team is Carbink, Pidgeot, Golbat, Charizard, Togetic are the corebreakers.
Scrafty with Counter + P-UP / Foul Play (or you can swap out P-UP with Acid spray for extreme spice but not recommended)
Drifblim with Hex + Shadow Ball / Icy Wind OR Mystical Fire
Dubwool with Double Kick + Body Slam / Payback or Wild Charge
Drifblim with Icy Wind lets you win against Gliscor and lets you hit Mudbois for neutral damage and Charizard, Mystical Fire lets you win against A-Slash.
Dubwool is very dependant on what you really want to go for. Payback is the recommended move of choice as it lets you deal with Ghost Types and also hit Cresselia as well and its a universal nuke move. Wild Charge gives you more access to hitting things much harder at the price of losing defense, it will let you deal with Golbat/Charizard/Dewgong/Jellicent easier as you can one shot or close to against them and also be able to hit fighting types for neutral damage.
@@NepNeppy Thanks for that, but i was thinking to have Drif with icy wind and mystical fire so he has more coverage with more Pokemon and guarantees debuffs every hit. What do u think?

Galarian Moltres wants in as well. Though there isnt really much you can do against it, pretty much a forfeit/instant loss.
What do you do against dewgong?
Depending on your active pokemon, if your Runerigus you can Sand Tomb and fast move damage to take it out faster or setup for your other pokemons. Rock Tomb if you want to try and deal more damage to it.
Pallosand can't do much other than Sand Tomb to setup your other 2 pokemon or try and go for Shadow Ball to risk the energy.
Golurk does not do much against Dewgong with Energy Lead or Shields because glass cannon, but can deal decent damage if your other pokemon Sand Tomb to lower its defense. May be risky with switchouts to remove debuffs but also switch locks them and depends on their other pokemons as well.

8:50 in the heat of the moment I’m sure I would have made the same play, but it’s worth noting that sand tomb does 26.6% so it actually would have been enough to KO and allow Pal to get to another sand tomb to KO whim and win the match.
Good to know! I didn't realize sand tomb did that much, I'm used to it doing almost no damage 🤣
