I love how pragmatic the owlbear cub is. He knows that his now dead mother has ceased to be his protector. Only good for one last, rather substantial meal now. Then he needs to find someone else to look out for him. Hint...
remember kids, it's only stealing if you get caught! the little chest symbol over the body tells you if looting them is stealing or not. If the chest symbol is gold colored, it is not stealing. If the chest symbol is red, then it is stealing. But only if someone sees you looting the body. Always turn on the vision cones before looting things with the red chest symbol.
Baldur´s Gate 3 did great with implementing many Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition rules, and missed out on some other. I mean, is there any other game that lets you pick up a goblin and throw him at another goblin to kill both of them? Or destroy a barrel of firewhiskey and chuck a lit torch at it to create a wall of fire? The Pen and Paper does, and so does BG3, in the most parts.
Oh so the conversation never got to the point where Astarion tells you what you were asking about vampires in this world with sunlight. They can't be in it and Astarion believes the tadpole is somehow preventing himself from dying in the sun ^^
Since I am a little behind you might have been told this already or figured it out on your own, but just in case...... you can quicksave in the middle of conversations as well.... F5 I think...
I am surprised more people haven't been telling you to pick up and read everything yet. So much lore you are missing. And talk to everything and everyone. A lot of missed dialog.
Although I won’t play the game myself due to the horrid turn-based combat, the game with all of its decisions, intricacies and branching storylines is superb. This relationship simulator has such a complex, wide branching story, I love it. If only it had proper combat then this would have been the new Skyrim. I love when games punish you for making stupid decisions. It makes this game so interesting to see how different people's perceptions and choices are and how it affects them in game. (Similar to CP 2077).

LET'S GOOOOOO!!! 🎉
I laughed so hard when you YEETED that gnome off the windmill! 😂 I choked on my coffee. I didn't even know that could happen. 🤣
I did that by mistake when I played it, i pulled the wrong lever 😂
I made no mistake there, had some fun at the expense of a hapless svirfneblin, just like in the Underdark. Common drow sport. Lol.
I thought this happened to everyone the first time
@@KitOkunari "Pull the lever, Kronk. Wrong lever!"
the persuading him to not drain you is a lot easier at like a 7 if you dont let him continue so that roll would've saved you xD

you can sell the poisoned apples to vendors.
AAAAHHHH NOOOO, don't sell the books! At least not until after you've read them first!
If you keep pissing off Shadowheart, how are you going to marry her? Happy wife, happy life, after all.
I'm really enjoying your playthrough ^^

Not sure how recent this play through is, but if its current I need to catch a stream. I keep talking to the screen to help as if I was in chat!
The playthrough began at launch, but I have taken several breaks, so it's taken a few months to get through the game!
what kind of computer do you have?
It's okay to make bad comps and just do whats fun and comes naturally. Balanced is easy mode. like if you wanna run only level one spells why not
