OMG! I was wondering what your next playthrough was going to be after Cyberpunk! This is going to be epic! I can't wait to watch you react to some of the crazy stuff that happens in this game! 🎉
I mean, there is definitely racism in the game (and the universe), especially against tieflings, but Shadowheart's not being racist at all. She's described as "wary", and for good reason (other than story-related) - the githyanki culture is generally very cruel, violent, and they're rarely raised outside of it. In D&D handbook they're described as "(leaning) toward lawful evil. They are aggressive and arrogant, and they remain the faithful servants of their queen, Vlaakith. Renegade githyanki tend toward chaos."

Chat leading you astray XD you can go back in the creator and change your race! You don't lose your appearance for the race you customized, it just doesn't stay on the new selection. So you could customize a human, then check out another race, then go back to your customized human. Hope you enjoy!
There's racism, and then there's reputation. The drow and githyanki have well-earned reputations as aggressive warriors and slavers, because that's what their societies developed as core values. By contrast, tieflings are unfairly judged simply for their appearance and ancestry, which is the definition of racism. It's like the difference between the following statements: "The Mongols were regarded as skilled horsemen and fearsome warriors." (reputation) "All Asians are super intelligent and can't drive for shyte." (racism)

You'd do well in a Dark Urge run with some of the decisions you've made lol And i do recommend doing a Dark Urge and fully embracing it. Its brutal, and you also get a certain thing you wont get on any other run.
I am greatly enjoying my playthrough as a reluctant Dark Urge - doing horrible things and then feeling bad about it adds a certain amount of drama to the story.
Hey, love the playthrough so far. I put this on to fill the time at work when I can't play BG3 on my own, so thanks! I've seen a couple of playthrough vids now and a lot of folks make a big deal about the secondary sex character choices at creation. I know that yeah, it's a thing, and America does love to hold onto our Puritanical values for some reason, but there's a better context we can choose for it in the longer term. Larian wants everyone to be welcomed and represented. They don't seem to think that their job is to limit choices, but instead expand them. It might not matter to most folks, but the folks it does matter to for having that kind of inclusion and representation, it matters enough to make up for the rest of the world's apathy, so... let's do a kindness for folks dealing with the struggle, right? And THEN go off and shag a bear or fight a demon nekkid. We know you're gonna do it at least once just to see what the game'll do.
Exactly. Also, the main reason for the number of dick options is to account for the permutations of grooming choices and circumcision. Vulvas only have grooming choice permutations. It's just inclusion of something that will logically come up if your character ends up having sex, or if they decide to go around nude, yes :P
True. I'm just sick of seeing 90% of playthroughs on youtube being Elve's. This is my "Opinion/Suggestion" which I shared. This is still a country of free speech, don't try to make my "Opinion/Suggestion" sound like I'm trying to bully people.@@Thomas-kj1fk

Thank you for pointing that out, I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I reread my original reply and I see what you mean. Have a good day and God bless you.@@Ace-du7vw
I have watched a lot of play throughs, and i don't think i have ever seen someone rub Shadowheart so much the wrong way, lol
For some reason it tends to be female players having a hard time with her lol
I tend to be gentle with shadowheart.
She is a possible waifu
And a good one.
One of my playthroughsshe is my girlfriend. Its very nice.
Poor Us. Trapped forever.

Character creation, 5 minutes on skills abilities
and overall effectiveness.
About 1 hour on appearances. 👍
50 minutes of that hour is deciding between Vulva B and Penis D.
This is the true Baldur's Gate experience 😂

I almost said the same thing, but I'm a few weeks late.
The voice actors for this game were so amazing.
I find it hilarious that people say, "Everyone's racist in THIS universe."
Compared to what, exactly? The real universe?
Seems pretty on the nose....

typical racism W
I really like seeing someone just get to live out the roleplay and pick whats fun, instead of worrying about what is "optimal"
Kitty with the finishing blow 😂😂😂
what i LOVE about bg3 is that its def the top 3 multi vulva game!

Gonna have to hard disagree with your friend about the Karmic Dice being a better experience.
I always turn this off. I think if the universe wants to give a dynamic weirdo pattern, so be it.
Same I'm rewatching and it's such a weird call

Awesome game
Drow rhymes with cow.
It's a shame I haven't seen this live stream, by the way, you looked very beautiful with your elf ears 💗
New subscriber, just started playing the game today. So i'll play along with you
nice head set , oh wait, those are ears !!!
These thumbnails are getting better and better.
GGs Dizzy or Vestman or both 😅
Thank you lol.
I think i milked a drow in act 1
This is a new playthrough?
Honour mode or death
I'm sick of seeing Elves. Please do something original for a change.
Or here's a novel idea, let people play what they want to play... don't take the R out of RPG...
