    Here is your proper review:
There is a screw on the left shifter which you can screw down to be able to unlock the shifting motion on the left shifter and use a front derailleur. You can also see that there is a cable slot for it. Also, the rear derailleur doesn't have a "clutch" it is just an adjustable spring tension for the chain. The bottom bracket is a standard-Shimano compatible 68mm to 73mm part. 52t will shift just fine even without an extender as long as you are using a correct chain speed. The only problem, but this applicable to all 1x11 drivetrains is the crosschain on the 2nd highest gear which will make the chain rub on the 3rd cog. The issue with the Sensah Reflex on the breaking left shifter doesn't apply to the SRX Pro as it has been replaced already with a metal guide pusher.

I saw the issue about the internals breaking on Luke's channel......"Trace Velo". Sensah sent him the updated version w/ the metal guide pusher but last i saw, he hasn't installed them yet......he's using another "cheap chinese groupset"......i think the LTWOO one.
I've grown accustomed to the externally routed shifter cables. I started w/ the shimano sora flight deck......now use MicroNEW on 3 bikes. but i have kinda wondered how i'd like having both cables under the bar wrap.... considering the sensah to try.

2000 miles in on my State Allroad with the State-sah groupset and aside from one rear mech adjustment (really dusty 80 miles gravel ride) it has been bulletproof and reliable. Still pretty crisp, the right lever did develop a rattle over time on a chunkier gravel ride, but I just reapplied a little grease at the linkages and boom, back to normal - so not sure if something was coming loose or just going dry from repeated wash and dust cycles, news at eleven. On the brakes, I haven't had a lockup yet, even with full backpacking gear (55lbs total) barreling downhill. I was also pleasantly surprised at the rear mech pulleys that rolled really smoothly, the same pricepoint Shimano stuff is pretty janky. I can't see a 52 rear cog working on the way it is set up on a State frame without a wolftooth or something, but I definitely think that taking the front chainring down a few teeth could help out on steeper climbs with weight aboard.

I really like the idea that budget groupsets are out there. It keeps the big three on their toes. But I think the operative question here is whether the plastic part that has a history of failure on the road groupset is also plastic in SRX. If Sensah uses metal, there is no issue. If the part is still injection-molded plastic, the part will fatigue and fail. That would be bad.
As an aside, my daughter just got an entry-level road bike. It came with some Tektro branded flat mount dual piston mechanical discs that look very similar to Spyre brakes (which, of course Tektro also makes). They are excellent and can be bought quite affordably. That would be my first change on a bike like the State. I'm sure it would be a huge improvement.

      typically no

    • @All4Grogg
      @All4Grogg 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Depends, but it is easy to find out by removing the cassette.
Assuming it is an HG body, if it has a 1.85mm spacer behind the cassette you are good.
If in doubt, any bike mechanic should be able to tell you in an instant with a quick glance. (8/9 specific wheels are dished differently so unfortunately just swapping free hub bodies is not going to work.)
Silver lining is that nearly all modern aftermarket wheels are designed to accept HG 10/11 cassettes and good stock wheels off of midrange road bikes are a very common item sold second hand.

Hello! I bought this groupset, but in my opinion with a damaged left brake lever.
On the left brake lever there is a broken bent plastic element to which the spring is attached, and on the right shifting\brake lever the plastic bent element is intact, there is no damage. Finding new generation 105 in stock for less than 4x the price of the sensah would be a serious challenge right now.
Shimano GRX 400 is also in a different category all together being hydro disc only and again 4x the price.
Microshift advent X is the only other option that falls right in. So basically in the budget mechanical road/gravel 1x it's those two battling it out. State bicycle chose Sensah Cannondale went with microshift on their base model topstone.
Sadly, I don't forsee shimano pushing out a Claris/tiagra level 1x to fight for the title of budget champ.

Do you necessary have to use flat mount mechanical disc callipers to use with these shift levers? Or will a standard mount disc would work as well? The one's which usually come with mtb's and flatbar hybrids?

I’m pretty sure they aren’t compatible, but shimano is the closet shape wise

8mm brake pull?? If so they should work with cantilever brakes. I might just buy it to test it out. $150 is a steal!!!

MrBirdshell666 it’s really not, I’ve been professionally fitted with that exact saddle and always measure saddle height after I assemble the bikes.
