There is a ton of bad information from box stores on the net. Technical videos with information doing math and explaining “if X then Y” don’t get as many views lol. Thanks!

Wow..eyeballing at best. Go get your profile accurately done on a Prosharp machine. Both blades done together at the same time.

Let’s agree to disagree. ProSharp takes longer if done properly. If it isn’t set up manually it isn’t actually a profile on a ProSharp, it’s a contour. The more you know…..

Sorry to inform b-sharp, you can disagree, but that doesn't make you correct.
The difference between radii over the length of a runner, let alone sections of a runner, is a difference within of thousandths of an inch. Those thous make a huge difference in feel and performance on the ice. Skaters CAN feel those changes.
Consistent results are impossible to achieve by eyeballing and grinding freehand to Sharpie marks measured with a ruler.
Only gross changes in feel are achievable with your methods.
Perfection requires precise set-ups following accurate templates.
If your customers are happy with your results, more power to you.
      Oxford Dictionary
Contour - the outer edges of something; the outline of its shape or form.
Profile - an outline of something.
