Sorry for The Jacked Up Bit with the horse stats. Feel Free To roast Me. waiting on TH-cam to complete the edit. Just In case the skipping caused confusion. Fox Trotter Comes with 7 Speed and 5 Acceleration 7 Stamina and 5 Health, and a much calmer personality. all Arabians have 6 speed 6 acceleration, only the Rose Gray has 7 stamina and 7 health, but worse temperment. both are still amazing horses though.
First time I've seen someone mess up like that in a video and forget to edit it, but it's a compliment, it twas a good laugh :') it's perfect just the way it is
In real life, the Missouri Fox Trotter is a gaited horse and produces a very smooth ride....they were bred to ride long distances and do farm work and things like that...Arabians originate in the desert and are best at endurance type work...Arabians are fast and naturally have one less vertebrae in their backs making them great for carrying a rider and that is also why they carry their tails higher, however, they tend to be hotter tempered and flighty (definitely not all Arabians are like that though)...I work in the horse industry and find the details added to the horses in this game really interesting!!
True fox trotters are commonly used by beginner equestrians because they are plain and simple horses that are pleasant to ride however they aren’t the fastest horse breed in the world and aren’t really a horse built for running fast unlike Arabian and Icelandic horses.Infact I wouldn’t even list them in a top 10.
THANK YOU OTHER HORSE PERSON! I'm still bothered by the lack of the unique gaits for the gaited horses. Riding the TWH drove me crazy in the beginning.
@Dennis Right? In every video about horses I read people complains about how Arabian throw them off but I owned three and it never happened to me. Not in a fight with people, not while hunting or even runing over 'Gators at full speed. It happened with Appaloosa, Hungarian and Thoroughbred but never with Arabian. Hell, even Mustang run away from me once and I have maximum bond with all of them. The bravest horses I owned in this game, were Arabians, Tennessee Walker, Shire and Morgan. Just shoot enemies and animals fast and no Arabian will throw you off.
Nigaki23333 My black Arabian in the first playthrough threw me off before I could even see wolves. But the black Arabian on my second playthrough is tough as nails, R* really made different temperaments for all horses which is great!! Love that you love arabians as well these are rare in the rdr2 community haha
@@yinniferdurmyd Guess I was lucky then to get a really brave Arabian everytime. They're my favourite horses in the game, never left me down. I think people just really don't know how to play with them. Like I said, you need to be quick with your guns and be focused on calming the horse once in a while during fight and you'll be good even with a very skittish Arabian. I know it could be annoying to press L3 every now and then when you fight, but I think it's cool you need to worry about stuff like that. It makes the immersion even stronger.
Buell was also my favorite horse. I had a feeling Arthur's final mission would take his horse too so I chose to bring Buell (despite being my favorite) so he could return to be with his friend. I didn't realize I was going to lose ALL of Arthur's horses. Losing my Thoroughbred in particular hit me unexpectedly hard.
Everyone is arguing on who’s the better one between Arabian and Fox, and here i am riding peacefully with a Thoroughbred from the ultimate edition package.
I actually started with my Thoroughbred then bought an Arabian then ended up getting my Thoroughbred back out of the stable. The Thoroughbred has just as much speed just slightly less acceleration and doesn't get spooked as easily. Me personally I prefer the Thoroughbred over the Arabian but too each their own
It's just bad that you can only hold 4 horses. Let's say you get Buel, the tiger mustang and you find 2 wild Arabians, they're all beautiful, you can't sell any of them. It doesn't even make sense after epilogues. You have that huge horse pen and only your main horse and Uncle's nag in it. You can't even show your stabled horses.
Now if only we had a large stable size that could hold more than 3 horses. There is no good reason why they couldn’t have allowed even just a little more space than that for us horse collectors to save our babies horse 🐎 in.
I got my thoroughbred at the beginning from ultimate edition and named him after my cat. I’ve tried other horses but that horse is flawless..has the black dapple coat, fast as can be and has never thrown me off…it’s an absolute unit n I love it.
I bought an Arabian for $700ish in St Denis. It bucked me in a gunfight and got itself shot. I died before reviving it. And that kids, is the story of how I should've used those $700 as excess toilet paper.
Little Sister that’s nothin, I bought a 1000 dollar horse and instantly got killed by bounty hunters along with my horse, so I bought another 1000 dollar horse and it fell of a cliff and we both died, I wasted 2000$ on nothing when I could have got 4000 deluxe baths
Pretty cool that Rockstar put so much detail into the horse dynamics! In my equestrian experience, Arabians are generally flashy and prone to spooking easily. So yeah, realistic!
Get any kind of war horse and your good against everything a hungarian halbred you canbget for free fromnthe bounty miaaion were rhe guy jumps in the river
I was pretty stoked when I came a cross the white Arabian while exploring the mountains. This was eventually followed by disappointment when it would get easily agitated just from riding it. Great looking horse, but I usually ride my thoroughbred

TagBackTV loving the flat cap! ;) I'll take a Trotter and Turk, over the Arab in most cases. Need a fast horse, with big meaty clackers. Only place I may choose an Arab is for racing.
Anybody else love the Shire? I had the same one that Hosea gives you right at the start and had it for the whole game. A strong and majestic beast. It straight up makes everybody else's horses look like ponies.
Shamus S I was riding in cinematic to saint denis and left the room but when I came back I was in my location but my shire was gone and Arthur was holding the saddle😞
Yeah some horses I love but the lack of stats for any horse not in top 8 is just too detrimental. They should have added a horse levelling system or something. Missed potential.
@@Pandaboametri I have heard that a horse can get stolen in St Denis if it is not hitched, which is hard to find there. Bummer. I will take this as a warning.
Best nature and because of his size, some hillbilly thugs were delayed a few seconds when they tried to grab me, giving me time to draw my gun and an shoot all three of them.
I got the Turkoman (war/race) during the Horseflesh for Dinner mission and it has stamina, speed, acceleration, and will not throw me when the chips are down like the Arabians will. As far as I can tell, bravery is a hidden stat. The war horses seem to have the best bravery. The Turkoman is both a war horse and race horse so has the best of both worlds.
@@High2GetBy You have to hang back before the sale and feed the horse until you get bonding level one. Then make the sale and after the cut scene, the horse will still be there as a bonded horse. Take him to the stable and register him and he's all yours.
I found this horse near the beginning of the game (chapter 2) standing injured/sick in the middle of the bush somewhere!! I healed it and it has been mine since. It was saddled up, but no rider to be seen. It didn’t come up as a stollen horse either. I have had it ever since. ❤️❤️
I got mine from the lady thats trapped under her horse on the side of the road. Except the horse was alive so i jumped on when she walked away. Early chapter 2.
@@ritojimenez8614 moonstone pond there you can do the glitch where you have to load and load your save file near the pond to spawn the MFT, i got mine in chapter 4 and with 11 retry
I love how people are talking like they actually own a horse from Red dead hahahah "Yeah my Turkoman is fantastic, but I always have to calm him down, he's ma big boi."
Can I just say Rockstar based the game on actual horse characteristics and the Arabs are known for their “unstable” alert temperaments and high speeds considering their height, they are race horses. The Missouri isn’t a war horse, just a work horse that was later introduced to Arab blood (as were most breeds) for its speed increase. The Missouri is originally just another version of the Quater horse. As for stat in the game, the Reverse Dappled Nokota (bought in Saint Denis in chapter 4) has the same stats as the White Brindle Thoroughbred.
The white Arabian is a good girl. I named her Lily. Both story mode, and I found her again in the epilogue and pretended it’s the same horse...and again in RDO and pretended that I inherited her again. lol She’s my fav. I mastered the routine of hopping off Lily as soon as there’s danger, and let her flee to safety. I take out predators and gunfights on foot. Some might think it’s a chore, but I don’t mind to ensure her safety. 🥰
I just want a horse that isn’t scared of a gun shot my white Arabian is amazing bc I love the all white but dude I spend more time trying to calm the damn thing down then I do actually shooting.
My mom had a white Arabian when we were growing up, it was an alpha Cunt of a horse. Ended up getting turned into dog food after it tried to kill me once and her multiple times. She has a sweet chill quarter horse now.
Lol i still have it but i ride a zebra looking-like horse very beautiful not the best status tho , i found it in a mission were i help rescue the black girl
I had that horse on one of my bad ass outlaw Arthur profiles, but I deleted it after I got the achievement I was after. I hope I can find that horse again, in my good profile. That was an awesome horse!
I have the black Arabian and I'm really glad you pontied out they get scared easily because I've always wonderd if it was just horses in general or breeds because my Arabian got scared from just passing by a alligator so I'll definitely be on the look out for that horses thank you
@@gustarddonut1452 Stats literally don't matter. Bonding is the only thing that matters. You won't notice a difference unless it's speed, trust me. And speed is awful because you'll be hitting trees and road signs wherever you go, or running people over. You honestly shouldn't be sprinting everywhere anyway... You're missing out on the beauty of this game if you do. And if you're using speed to escape things, any other horse can do it just as well.
Another thing that I've noted (not sure how true this is or if its just me) but coming from using a thoroughbred for a long time. Once I switched to the Arabian I felt like the handling was waaay worse, turning speed was slower and whilst it has high acceleration it takes alot longer to slow down imo. Which combined with the things you mentioned means coming off the horse alot more. Very frustrating horse. Ill be on the lookout for a fox trotter now. 😉
I don’t know how you guys have so much trouble calming the Arabians. I had a Black Arabian for damn near since I got to Saint Denis and now I’m in the epilogue. My Arabian bucked me like twice the whole rest of the game. I just like the acceleration over temperament because I’m never close enough to predators to be bucked off and if I’m riding it while in a gunfight it’s not going anywhere other than where I’m controlling it. That Amber Champagne Missouri Fox trotter was looking damn nice though, I’ll have to try to find one and compare the two myself and see if I can go back to an Arabian or not.
Same i only get bucked if i stay to close to predators. Which only really happens in the swamps for me. Other than that ive never had a problem and ive fully bonded wioth the white and the black arabians, working on the rose grey now.
The foxtrotter is nice im bond level 3 with mine its top speed is why i use it more now than my couple arabians its only downfall imo is its acceleration is lil slower but with good tack and bond it makes up for it mine has alot of hp and stam i beat dutch with it by miles in that race and still had half stam i started with
wow..that's fairly accurate. I'm a horse owner, not a gamer though :). I actually have three Arabians and one Foxtrotter. The real life foxtrotter is probably overall calmer than my Arabians, but honestly, the Arabians can last all day long and run circles around the Foxtrotter. Love them both.
Here, and as a player? I love the Shire and the Belgian. Something about having the beefiest horse around is just enjoyable, and they all seem very mellow when riding them into combat compared to when I tried to ride an Arabian into combat. I dunno, they might not be the best but they are enjoyable to ride.
Love my Belgian Draft. Big stompy girl, doesn't scare easy, and goes fast enough as is. I got a speed upgrade for racing, and +2 stirrups, so she moves at 6 speed anyway.
I remember being excited about finding the fabled white horse up north in the snowy parts of the map (That almost all online guides recommend you to search for, BTW), which happens to be an arabian, only to find myself frustrated at how nervous the thing was. Yeah sure, it was a freaking speeding bullet, and to get it quite early in the main story was amazing, but at the cost of having to ride away from most gunfights because the poor girl would get nervous at the first sound of a gun being fired. I remember thinking to myself "I miss my old horse" very often...
I also noticed that the mft is absurdly sure footed on the most difficult of terrain. Like I’ve tried to intentionally make her stumble or trip and it’s EXTREMELY difficult to do so. Very stable temperament and max top speed too. It’s gotta be the best all around horse. The only other contender I haven’t tried is a fully bonded turkoman.
The best horse is the one you are currently riding. Case closed. Regardless of stats, it all boils down to personal preference. Idk why people so mad about others not agreeing to their personal preference. In terms of stats, there is only one horse that takes first place. That is the Rose Grey Bay Arabian. That it not an opinion folks, it's fact. Stats - 7 Health , 7 Stamina, 6 Speed, 6 Accelerate
It’s not good when you can’t get in a gunfight because your horse will be getting spooked anytime a shot is fired. That’s not an opinion that’s a fact.
Jackson Morrow that's an opinion based on your personal preference. It can be argued that some wouldn't mind their horse freaking out in a gunfight because their patience is rewarded is speed, health, acceleration or stamina of the horse. Same can be said for people who pick horses that do well in gunfights but lack speed, health , acceleration or stamina. It's all personal preference and you know it! Am not here to argue with anyone's personal preference just stating facts based on RDR 2 Guide book. All horses are good. Some are just better in some things than others.
Dude honestly, I have ridden both the Foxtrotter, and the Arabian about the same length of time, and I truly prefer the Arabian. I love how fast it gets up to top speed, but what I love the most is the elite handling, I love being able to weave my way in and out of places, and the quick get up is great
Jim Beaux The Elite handling is probably one of my favorite things about the Arabian, which is also the only breed that has it. Plus they‘re super fast and have great acceleration, and moreover, they are beautiful
Nice video. I personally love the Ardennes breed. You can ride with it into a tornado full of bears while fighting a rival gang and it barely flinches :D
One of the sadest moments in the game is the last mission and arthurs little moment with his horse, i really felt that moment. Rockstar did a great job there. I was so happy they gave arthur that scene, when they easily could've skipped it and no one would really blame them. Beautiful work.
BzbOnThaTrack honestly black Arabian in RDO is the best horse. The reasoning is being small makes your generally harder to hit (I tested this) and the black Arabian has a very good balance between speed and acceleration. Match it up with some good stirrups and saddles and your unstoppable.
I had a black Arabian mare that never bucked me, never spooked me, probably had a double digit kill count with how many people I ran over with it, and never gave out while running it. It was a lot more cautious around wild animals than some of my other horses, but honestly I liked the heads up to find stuff to skin especially for snakes which were always harder to find. I was genuinely sad when she died in the final level.
My Arabian has stayed with me through, gators, snakes, and countless gun fights. They’re a horse for an aristocratic, takes a special touch and a lot of care, but they’re by far the best. Nothing can catch you or touch you.
My white Arabian stepped on and killed a rattlesnake and doesn't run from wolves. Even a war horse will buck you over a cougar. The way I understand it, there is some randomization to horse bravery. The key things are max bonding and getting good at spamming the Calm button. You can keep even a flighty horse much steadier. I've found the Thoroughbreds to be much more high strung than the Arabians, personally. The great thing about Arabians is their speed off the line and their agility. That keeps them (and you) clear of a lot of trouble before it starts
I have 3 horses, black arabian stolen from St Denis, the Missouri Foxtrotter and Buell. Love them all. Buell looks especially good when its been raining or hes been swimming. Such a shiny gold horse
At level 4 bonding the Arabian won't run away from anything but a predator. Gun fights, ambushes, it just stands there. Even if "spooked" you can just get on and ride like any other time. Pretty pointless stat to go for if you plan on bonding with the horse to level 4. Unless your walking up to alligators on purpose your fine. Have to agree that the Foxtrotter is a better looking horse. Great pattern, and I prefer a larger horse than the Arabians. Their (arabians) only real negative IMO.
exactly, I few times run OVER alligators with my black arabian princess called Ronya, and she was spooked(who would be ofc) but didnt buck me off. At max bonding it is reliable horse with best stats.
Everyone is arguing about the real best horse and everything, but at the end we all know that the best horse is the one that catches your eye the most ,even with poor stats you can get attached to it and this is what matters.
You need to re-edit this video. When talking about the statistics of the horse in the barn, you left the bloopers in and repeated the same thing more than twice
Why didn't you give any location, or even a clue? We couldn't even backtrack your trip to Emerald Ranch because you cut it part way through. EDIT: At 1:39 look for that intersection just North of Saint Denis, and you'll find it.
I swear getting new horses in encounters with bears, wolf's, gators, and firefights on purpose while still early on bonding seems to condition them to be less skittish. Regardless of breed, it's all about what their used to.
Wow. That's a very interesting observation. I tended to do all kinds of crazy shit with the horses I had as Arthur, and I was wondering why everybody here said that the Arabian is extremely skittish because mine wasn't but now that you said that I remembered that I had that horse for a very long time and made it face all kinds of crazy beasts and gangs since Lv. 1 Bonding. My last horse in the game as John was a War Horse and I kept wondering why this horse was such a pansy and went crazy all the time when I ran into snakes or wolves or a gunfight broke out, but I now realize I bonded with it up to Lv. 3 by riding it and giving it food, pats and brushings and not by chasing Night Folk with sticks of dynamite in the middle of the night and crap like that, like my other horses.
Guilherme Demarchi Pires you don’t always have that option, TBH.. so why risk it? I also went and got the white Arabian early thanks to the 1000’s of how to get the best horse in the game vids being funneled by the algorithm, and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it. So much so, like I posted above, I’ve been using Mustangs, and they are slower, but way better as far as carrying heavy loads of pelts, and not having to dismount every single time there is a altercation lol
Do that when the tard pedestrian goes out of their way to walk into your path in saint denis and you're being shot at by an army of lawmen because you have a 200+ dollar bounty. Or when you're hunting cougars/panthers. I thought the arabian was overrated since I got it and immediately switched to turkoman.
I have the white arabian and during ambushes I don't have to dismount. There is usually 4-5 people so dead eye can kill them easily. I love his speed to move around
I don't like the brindle color though the fastest thoroughbred in the game.. the blood bay is the most beautiful thoroughbred in the game in my opinion
I had literally just got the game, finished Chapter 1, did the first few story missions to unlock the Valentine stable and Emerald Ranch fence, I was riding from the camp to Emerald Ranch, I hear a strange sound - like a 'thump', turn around, and there's a grey and white specked thoroughbred just standing in the road with nobody in the saddle. Naturally I claimed it.
I don’t think you can get horses like that at that place you got the Missouri Fox Trotter anymore. I tried it and the only horses that spawned were “Morgans” and “Tennessee Walkers”
well you can't say that they didn't keep it true to the horses actual natures, I've ridden plenty arabians and boy are these guys sensitive and petty xD they also spook more often than any warmblood or draft that i've ever ridden and or encountered!
All of my Arabians are steady. If you get an Egyptian arabian bred for halter then yea they're spooky but Egyptian and Polish Arabians bred properly are steady sport mounts.
You definitely changed my mind. 30 seconds after buying one and riding I felt the control a lot better and the stamina drain is a lot slower. I listened to what you were saying as soon as I heard you say temperament because I had noticed it too and it was super annoying on the Arabians. Thank you.
During the Moonshine mission where you burn the fields with Sean my beautiful white Arabian which I named silver, I was bucked off maybe like 3 times because the fire and all the guns and I died because of it not gonna lie 😂
Atlas Gaming dude they’re so good with speed but fucking hell they get scared over EVERYTHING, I sold mine because she got scared over everything and people kept trying to steal her.
Oof I don't have these problems with my Arabian, idk if max bonding could make them less skittish the only problem I had was with wolves when I first tamed her.
My favorite horse just died he was just a simple American standerbred but I loved him so much, I had level 4 bonding with him and he was awesome, but recently he died and now I have grown a relationship with the white Arabian but I feel that she isn’t the best either and now I want a good horse but I don’t want to spend 5 hours doing the glitch until I find a horse that may or may not be the best, I just wish I could try them all out then decide (R.I.P High Noon)
Finish the epilogue and get you the fox trotter, it’s so worth it. I finished the game in a week, and decided to completely bond with every horse breed there was after the second epilogue; I had each horse for about a month (game time) after completing the bonding. I’ve found that the fox trotter is the best horse. It has almost full speed, and almost full stamina, it’s health isn’t 100% but my fox trotter withstood a fall from a cliff about 50-70 ft. She didn’t die, and she needed reviving. Every other horse is good, but over all, the trotter is the absolute best in my opinion.
Haily Henney thanks I was contemplating the Fox trotter but I was still not sure, I’ve now finished the game and almost done with epilogue, I think I’ll get the fox trotter for online and once I’m done with the epilogue.
You can actually tame the arcadia for amatures 3 fox trotter by tracking it during the mission skipping the final cutscene and continuing to track the horse. When you find it you jump over to the fox trotter from your horse and take it to a stable then loading your save file. I did this and I have it in chapter 2.
The Nakota and Missouri I got using the method can’t be calmed whilest running, I have to stop the horse to do it, happened a couple of days ago with my old black Arabian and then just sorted itself out but it’s bloody annoying. Anyone got an idea how to fix it?
Yeah, the Ardennes war horse are an absolute beast. Dutch rides a white arabian.. Which suits him really, looks like a show pony and will ditch your ass in a gunfight to save his own skin.
i've been using the Shire horse. it is quite funny seeing Arthur on top of a massive horse while everyone else is riding on tiny ponies by comparison :P lol
Well yea speed is the only thing that counts on the horse stamina is not really a problem as you can pump a shit ton of stamina potions into the horse if needed.
I was like holy shit shit when I first used the stamina medicine i thought it was just gonna be in like a glass container that your horse drink but naaaa it was a giant ass needle
Lmao.....The horses didn't get spooked by your gunshot one little bit.....It was actually the sound of the Thunder Clapping from the storm you were filming in !! Doesn't really matter what spooked them though because it still showed us the differences between the 2 horses anyway !! Cheers for ths info.....Keep Up the Great Work !!
Here's how I got this horse: You know that random side-mission where the lady's horse "Up and died" on her, and then you ride her back to Emerald Ranch? Well, turns out her horse wasn't dead. It was just kinda staning there.... So yeah... M.I.N.E.
Just want to point out that I did the gun test demonstrated in your vid with my fully bonded white arabian that I've had since the start of chapter 2, and my fully bonded Champaign Amber Missouri Fox Trotter that I obtained a couple of days ago from the Scarlett Meadows stable. I'm playing on the PC version so I don't know if they've changed anything since the console release but I can tell you that after firing off several rounds with the Evans Repeater right between the two horses, the White Arabian calmed just as quickly as the MFT. I'm still keeping my MFT though because I love the coat more than my White Arabian, and I think the size of the horse suits Arthur more than the tiny frame of the Arabian. However, for those who try the MFT, don't care much for it, and looking to make money, you can buy the MFT in chapter 4 with good honour for a 25% discount (for some reason I don't think you can max your honour until later in the game) and sell it to a stable once fully bonded for a profit. Stables offer me $902 for it, I paid something in the region of $760. Anyway, the main point is that I don't think a fully bonded Arabian has the temperament problems they have when you first obtain them. Something also not mentioned in the vid is the "handling" stat. Arabians have "Elite" handling, Fox Trotters have "Standard" handling. This translates as agility in the game. The Arabian can whip around tight bends and be back up to speed faster than the MFT. Overall, I think the Rose Grey Bay Arabian is still the best horse in the game, once you reach bonding level 4, over and above the Silver Dappled Pinto MFT, but maybe not so much as to make much of a difference. I aim to own them both :-)
Also, I love the name I chose for the Amber Champaign MFT - "Whiskey". I must say that I've grown very attached to both nags though. Credit to R* for making horses so realistic that I literally treat them like a real pet.
I’m curious, what are your thoughts on the Turkoman?? 🤔 Personally, I prefer them because they’re a little flashy, and lanky 😂 But they’re acceleration and speed is absolutely worth it, and their health and stamina is decent as well. Though, I adore the Fox trotters as well (first horse I bought, The champagne coat)
Turkoman is the only horse that is a war horse and a race horse. Proven a long time ago to be one of the bravest horse in the game and only of the fastest. My Turkoman never bucks me off or runs from anything.
@Arthur's Horse the only time my silver turk bucked me off is when the o'Driscoll Ambushed me with a burning wagon. Its not actually a legit buck off cuz any type of horse you use in that random encounter, youll get bucked off no matter what, even if its a pure War horse. Its a war/race so its fast and brave not the bravest nor fastest but its balanced, it can go head to head with shire for bravery and arabian for speed.
then you obviously haven't been that close to gators because Arabian bucks, the game makes them buck. So it's either luck or you just not getting close as him.
yeah ive never been bucked by ANYTHING. even the arabian. all he does is this weird shimmying shit were he moves way to the left or right of the “danger”
They are shit against wolves, and ive been bucked a few times with ambushes. Even if they dont buck you freaking out is just as bad, making them hard to handle.
This is great I have had an Arabian for quite some time and it’s always agitated from ONE alligator for like 30 minutes. and after this glitch the Missouri fix trotter hardly ever gets agitated and also Arabians always rest their back legs while you gallop and the Missouri fix trotter doesn’t. Thanks tagbacktv.
That drives me insane and why I don't use the Arabian as much. I like big horses, and the Arabians in the game are like looking at this big dude riding a pony.
Size is correct. Arabians are really tiny horses. They also have fewer ribs, vertabrae and tailbones than all the other horses thus why they are so small.

Pro tip the acceleration on the Arabian is amazing so it can dash off as fast as possible when it bucks you off
It's also good for covering distance quickly, the horse always seems to be 1/4 mile away by the time I get my ass off the ground.....
And their stamina is insane.

Too bad I killed my Ult. Edition Thoroughbred
Same here I love my Thoroughbred!!
I thought the Arabian blew that horse out of the water

Arabian is a superior horse

The white Arabian is a good girl. I named her Lily. Both story mode, and I found her again in the epilogue and pretended it’s the same horse...and again in RDO and pretended that I inherited her again. lol She’s my fav.

Crepusculo 164 ok it has lesser stats than the arabian
Other than that ive never had a problem and ive fully bonded wioth the white and the black arabians, working on the rose grey now.
ive had the black arabian since chapter 4 and ive never been bucked off before and im 100% now
The foxtrotter is nice im bond level 3 with mine its top speed is why i use it more now than my couple arabians its only downfall imo is its acceleration is lil slower but with good tack and bond it makes up for it mine has alot of hp and stam i beat dutch with it by miles in that race and still had half stam i started with

Stats - 7 Health , 7 Stamina, 6 Speed,
6 Accelerate
Samuel Ebuehi where do you get that one?
Blackwater stables.
I found a wild thoroughbred that has 9 speed 7 acceleration 6 health 6 stamina from just base stats
Elite handling also really allows me to swerve into trees that i would have missed, otherwise. 👍
Which arabian should I get? I have the white one but should I change out for either of the other two?
Steven Beutler You can get the black one for free after chapter 2 in Saint Dennis.
Whenever I go to Saint Denis I get the Arabian out. She handles best in the crowded streets and allies.
Nice video. I personally love the Ardennes breed. You can ride with it into a tornado full of bears while fighting a rival gang and it barely flinches :D
That I also the second largest horse in the game after the shire which is a draft type.
Love the ardennes
Yeah but once the Ardennes gets startled you have to spend 20 years calming it down (at least in my experience)
Ever notice how the only living thing that Arthur has a relationship with is his horse? Goood girl. That's OK.
One of the sadest moments in the game is the last mission and arthurs little moment with his horse, i really felt that moment. Rockstar did a great job there. I was so happy they gave arthur that scene, when they easily could've skipped it and no one would really blame them. Beautiful work.
Can you blame him?
wow my arabian never bucked me off and after calming her once she'd never get skittish in a gunfight either 🤔
Yea everyone says oh they too skittish. Not once has it threw me off. All those other big but horses are trash. Black Arabian all day
Any Arabian really
BzbOnThaTrack and if they buck you off everyone talks about how they run away when you can just whistle and they stop
I really like the parts where you repeat yourself 4 to 5 times for different takes then don't edit them out so your video is over 10 minutes long.
What way do you edit your videos?
lol for a second I thought it was my phone fucking up
My Arabian has stayed with me through, gators, snakes, and countless gun fights. They’re a horse for an aristocratic, takes a special touch and a lot of care, but they’re by far the best. Nothing can catch you or touch you.
Cory Pedigo they get agitated very easily (in my experience). It’s all about personal preference though
I have the white arabian and i thinks it’s so gosh darn beautiful i just can’t get rid of her
Tachanka Boi you’ll want to use a different horse in the later missions if you don’t know already
Dom F I know but thank you
My white Arabian stepped on and killed a rattlesnake and doesn't run from wolves.
Started playing RDR2 about 3 weeks ago. Finding these educational videos extremely helpful.

David Lutz me too, about 2 weeks ago and i'm on chapter 6
At level 4 bonding the Arabian won't run away from anything but a predator. Gun fights, ambushes, it just stands there. Even if "spooked" you can just get on and ride like any other time. Pretty pointless stat to go for if you plan on bonding with the horse to level 4. Unless your walking up to alligators on purpose your fine. Have to agree that the Foxtrotter is a better looking horse. Great pattern, and I prefer a larger horse than the Arabians. Their (arabians) only real negative IMO.
Well, arabians are kinda smaller irl, so u can only blame evolution for that lol
Arabians are great maxed out only mine is gone with a thank you
exactly, I few times run OVER alligators with my black arabian princess called Ronya, and she was spooked(who would be ofc) but didnt buck me off. At max bonding it is reliable horse with best stats.

It's rose grey.not rose gold
"They're all Arabians, they all act exactly the same." I can't believe TH-cam let that one fly.
This kind of didnt need to be 10 minutes.
3 by riding it and giving it food, pats and brushings and not by chasing Night Folk with sticks of dynamite in the middle of the night and crap like that, like my other horses.
during ambushes i simply dismount and look for cover... why would i chose to be a target together with my horse?
Guilherme Demarchi Pires you don’t always have that option, TBH.. so why risk it? I also went and got the white Arabian early thanks to the 1000’s of how to get the best horse in the game vids being funneled by the algorithm, and I’ve had nothing but trouble with it. So much so, like I posted above, I’ve been using Mustangs, and they are slower, but way better as far as carrying heavy loads of pelts, and not having to dismount every single time there is a altercation lol
Because running over 2 guys shooting annother with a shot gun, Jump off horse, Dual weild pistols and clean em up, is just too fun.
During ambushes I use dead eye and my 14 express lancaster bullets. 😂
Why is nobody talking about thoroughbred? They are extremely nice
I don't like the brindle color though the fastest thoroughbred in the game.. the blood bay is the most beautiful thoroughbred in the game in my opinion
in the first game they were considered the best horse
@@polishjerry5474 The thoroughbred wasnt in the first game. That was the Hungarian halfbred and the American standardbred
@@aaronnordstrom788 oh shit your right i was thinking of the american standardbred. sorry thx for correcting me
@@polishjerry5474 No prob
I had literally just got the game, finished Chapter 1, did the first few story missions to unlock the Valentine stable and Emerald Ranch fence, I was riding from the camp to Emerald Ranch, I hear a strange sound - like a 'thump', turn around, and there's a grey and white specked thoroughbred just standing in the road with nobody in the saddle. Naturally I claimed it.
The exact same thing happened to me! I couldn't even believe the stats at that point.
Happens to everyone, very nice tho
I don’t think you can get horses like that at that place you got the Missouri Fox Trotter anymore. I tried it and the only horses that spawned were “Morgans” and “Tennessee Walkers”
well you can't say that they didn't keep it true to the horses actual natures, I've ridden plenty arabians and boy are these guys sensitive and petty xD they also spook more often than any warmblood or draft that i've ever ridden and or encountered!
@Jamesbundy1 she's talking in real life nerd, there's is nothing to do with bonding, their nature is to be a more sensitive horse.
Yeah the horses are amazing in rdr2
All of my Arabians are steady. If you get an Egyptian arabian bred for halter then yea they're spooky but Egyptian and Polish Arabians bred properly are steady sport mounts.
IRL
Although in the game my favorite is the Amber champagne missouri fox trotter
Every time you said "meaty clackers" I giggled like a schoolboy
dodg1988 the league is a good show
dodg1988 my wife never seen the show thinks I made up blow jibber
@@twoguystalkingboxing656 there are so many incredible euphemisms and phrases from that show. Legendary
Turkoman for me all the way. I also love the brown and black fade colour combinations. My turkoman stallion is beast.
Yes, I have the dark bay from blackwater stable and its honestly my favourite!
Mine silver with small black dots
Turkoman is such a beast.
In real life, I have 3 Arabian horses, all different colors, but my white one happens to be horribly afraid of fire 😂
@@skyhopper3602 Weirdly, my white Arabian has never bucked me off.
@@ouralisacs3989 My arabians only buck me off in the ambushes when I'm getting shot at in all directions.
Keep the white Arabian beutiful horse
Finish the epilogue and get you the fox trotter, it’s so worth it. I finished the game in a week, and decided to completely bond with every horse breed there was after the second epilogue; I had each horse for about a month (game time) after completing the bonding. I’ve found that the fox trotter is the best horse. It has almost full speed, and almost full stamina, it’s health isn’t 100% but my fox trotter withstood a fall from a cliff about 50-70 ft. She didn’t die, and she needed reviving. Every other horse is good, but over all, the trotter is the absolute best in my opinion.
get a mustang, they dont have crazy stats but they are war and work horses, loyal and cool af
Haily Henney thanks I was contemplating the Fox trotter but I was still not sure, I’ve now finished the game and almost done with epilogue, I think I’ll get the fox trotter for online and once I’m done with the epilogue.
Rubin my horse ran into a train
You made very great points and won me over to the dark side LOL Great for besides the middle part, I thought I was high or something LOL
Roy Thornton actually I am high and thought the same thing🤔
Also still here trying to get this Missouri Fox Trotter to spawn😔
I thought i was tripping and missed a part of the video and rewinded to re watch that lol
You can actually tame the arcadia for amatures 3 fox trotter by tracking it during the mission skipping the final cutscene and continuing to track the horse. When you find it you jump over to the fox trotter from your horse and take it to a stable then loading your save file. I did this and I have it in chapter 2.
Used this method. Worked perfectly. I have a tan Missouri fox trotter, male, and hes is Awsome. Doesnt spook as easily and fast.
I have it too
Energi Inc. how many re loads did it take you to get it?
Energi Inc. Yeah, buckskin is so much better looking than dappled gray.
YourDoing2much The balls usually give it away
The Nakota and Missouri I got using the method can’t be calmed whilest running, I have to stop the horse to do it, happened a couple of days ago with my old black Arabian and then just sorted itself out but it’s bloody annoying. Anyone got an idea how to fix it?
I still ride the shire from the begging, I have other horses. But that shire is just so cool.
ardennes squad? 🙋♀️
Hahaha
Waddup
Yeah, the Ardennes war horse are an absolute beast. Dutch rides a white arabian.. Which suits him really, looks like a show pony and will ditch your ass in a gunfight to save his own skin.
@@C01iNTT84 Dutch has a Dutch warm blood albino
@@scherzo3753 no.
i've been using the Shire horse. it is quite funny seeing Arthur on top of a massive horse while everyone else is riding on tiny ponies by comparison :P lol
Well yea speed is the only thing that counts on the horse stamina is not really a problem as you can pump a shit ton of stamina potions into the horse if needed.
Dribrom Sunrock "potions" you fucking nerd
@@xWORLDxCHAMPIONx You are so cool
Lil Sandwich I know I got 2 whole likes.
Lil Sandwich I wanna thank my fans
I was like holy shit shit when I first used the stamina medicine i thought it was just gonna be in like a glass container that your horse drink but naaaa it was a giant ass needle
Lmao.....The horses didn't get spooked by your gunshot one little bit.....It was actually the sound of the Thunder Clapping from the storm you were filming in !!
Doesn't really matter what spooked them though because it still showed us the differences between the 2 horses anyway !!
Cheers for ths info.....Keep Up the Great Work !!
Here's how I got this horse:
You know that random side-mission where the lady's horse "Up and died" on her, and then you ride her back to Emerald Ranch? Well, turns out her horse wasn't dead. It was just kinda staning there....
So yeah... M.I.N.E.
Damn i killed that lady......
Turkoman gang 💯
Turkoman is the only horse that is a war horse and a race horse. Proven a long time ago to be one of the bravest horse in the game and only of the fastest. My Turkoman never bucks me off or runs from anything.
@Arthur's Horse you are acting like it's not an war horse
@Arthur's Horse they are braver than Missouri fox trotters
@Arthur's Horse don't need to call me idiot
@Arthur's Horse the only time my silver turk bucked me off is when the o'Driscoll Ambushed me with a burning wagon. Its not actually a legit buck off cuz any type of horse you use in that random encounter, youll get bucked off no matter what, even if its a pure War horse.
Its a war/race so its fast and brave not the bravest nor fastest but its balanced, it can go head to head with shire for bravery and arabian for speed.
I have never been bucked by my arabian. Either way turkoman gang
then you obviously haven't been that close to gators because Arabian bucks, the game makes them buck. So it's either luck or you just not getting close as him.
yeah ive never been bucked by ANYTHING. even the arabian. all he does is this weird shimmying shit were he moves way to the left or right of the “danger”
My Arabians are both complete assholes even at max bonding
They are shit against wolves, and ive been bucked a few times with ambushes. Even if they dont buck you freaking out is just as bad, making them hard to handle.
I get rushed by 4 wolves while on my Arabian and just sit on it and shoot them and never got bucked off
Horses that almost never spook are called ‘bomb-proof’ I believe.
The Silver Turkoman looks way better than your oreo-looking horse.
What you got against Oreos, boah?
Where’d you get that one at?
I got the gold turkoman beautiful horse
Turkoman is one of the best! I always get compliants from NPC ever since I got it.

Whipped my $450 Dutch Warmblood from Valentine since chapter 2 😎😎😎
Arabians are good, but the size is wrong, Rockstar made them short
That drives me insane and why I don't use the Arabian as much. I like big horses, and the Arabians in the game are like looking at this big dude riding a pony.
Yup I kinda notice that.
Size is correct. Arabians are really tiny horses. They also have fewer ribs, vertabrae and tailbones than all the other horses thus why they are so small.
@@naomibousson True, but they are not THAT small in real life. RDR2 makes them seem tiny.
@@THEwolfKiana Yes they are. I used to ride one as a kid. They are like large ponies.
