the scene with Baek-ah and the girl child is actually rather ominous & a bit creepy, and I only realized the extent when I read the abridged version of history: -"Bok-soon" is highly speculated to be 7th prince Wang Wook (posthumously King Daejong)'s *youngest daughter Queen Heonjeong* -she & her eldest sister Queen Heon'ae (later the infamous Dowager Empress Cheonchu) were both married to their first cousin/slash/maternal uncle King Gyeongjong (4th prince Wang So's son & successor Wang Ju, mentioned in this episode) -while there seems to be no interaction between Queen Heonjeong & King Gyeongjong, upon the latter's death (in his teenage years) the "Goryeosa" (Goryeo Dynasty's "official" history compiled during early Joseon Dynasty) recorded a major scandal (far outstripping her elder sister's own): *8th prince Wang Wook fell deeply in love with and had an incestuous affair with his own niece Queen Heonjeong* ; prior to the affaire the newly-widowed Queen Heonjeong (at that time in confinement at a Buddhist temple) had a dream, later interpreted by a fortune teller as "You will bear a son who will possess this country [i.e. Goryeo]." -their bastard child was Wang Sun, *the future King Hyeonjong* (depicted by ZE:A Kim Dong Jun in the currently airing "Goryeo-Khitan War"), whose progeny all succeeding kings of Goryeo descend from hence Baek-ah (posthumous King Anjong) is the actual *ultimate winner in this bloody fratricide* of early Goryeo Dynasty
@@Aminatlove1990 TL;DR *Baek-ah ғụčķəđ his own niece* who was his teenage royal nephew's widow, and the son they produced was king at the time the Khitans invaded Goryeo, and all subsequent kings descend from Baek-ah's line though it's not outright stated "Bok-soon" is Queen Heonjeong, but the fact that this particular scene exists and the connotations alone (girl being Wook's daughter, Baek-ah the one talking to her, shock at the girl's name + Gyeon Woo-hee flashbacks) is very convincing especially if you're privy to Korean history
