I am a student of composition and I have to say this was both a very beautiful and original piece, and also a very creative video. I just clicked the video and thought I would skim through it but got stuck and couldn't turn it off. Thank you :)
Hello music people, My name is Luuk Swinkels. I am a young composer who is looking for a public. If you are intrested in classical compositions, you can check my channel out. If your not intressted. Just ignore this message.
My video "Composing in real time" just got featured on TH-cam channel #Vsauce (#Vsauce2), so it went up to 8,000 views over night (and over day:) )! I am very thankful for every view and comment, and I would be happy to send the pdf score to anyone, who wants the whole piece! :)
Great composition, and a good idea for a video-format. Why is the piece called "Trio No. 5465798"? Or did you write five million four hundred and sixty-five thousand, seven hundred and ninety-eight trios before this one...?
Is it possible that it's his phone number, or the number of someone he knows? The American composer Ingolf Dahl fashioned a theme in his "Music for Brass" from a phone number.
I liked it a lot, it reminded me of when I spent time doing songs in GuitarPro and believed that it was a composer. Then I enrolled in the university to the race of musical composition and I realized that I did not really know anything. Thanks
Dear all! I am very happy to share with you a new style of video, that I have been working on! Watch my composition being composed in real (but fast-forwarded) time. If you listen closely, you will also hear the music, while being composed ;) I hope you like it, I will be very happy if you share the video and/or comment on it :) Nejc
Oh damn- fast forwarded is the antithesis of real time. Why not give your next piece the direction of FAST SLOW. hey why not LOUD SOFT (piano forte…..hmmmn) what do I know. I’ll be dead soon and then I’ll be a decomposer..:probably better then a recomposer. A classical composter? Howbout a posercomposer? Lord help me lest I pun again
I don't know much about music so don´t take my opinion seriously, but I think this is an extraodinary song, wonderful. Thank you for making this. You have another sub.
This is wonderful. I love the idea of combining the sound of the piece and the text. I'm quite picky when it comes to classical music, because I'm an avid listener, but I can honestly say that this piece is really good and has a sole of it's own. Great work, great music.
I see you did this five years ago. Sorry to be so late to the party! What a lovely piece. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope to be able to compose like that when I grow up. :-) This kind of simplicity is especially hard to pull off, because you have nowhere to hide.
I very much adore this craftmanship. Being only an amateur, I have great respect towards people who can read and even write music so easily. To me, it's almost a miracle, as I manage to sight-read only very easy scores. But above all: I find it marvellous when an artist like you has such wonderful music in his/her inner picture and then even is able to note the details down with accuracy in every single note and rhythm. I mean, these chords definitely don't look easy or standard, neither do the rhythmical changes in the violin and flute look like common peanuts. I adore this! I wish 1) I could hear such musical details and refinement within myself, and 2) after envisioning it write it down so easily. Thank you very much for your dedication and art! It's a very great idea this movie. Beautiful to listen to and to look at.
I am happy to give a lecture about #composing and #arranging for guitar at International Guitar Festival Youngmasters in Samobor, Croatia, today at 18.00! You will also hear my arrangement of #Giuliani's piece "Gran Sonata Eroika" for guitar and string orchestra and my piece in the video! :) Composing in real time (fast-forwarded): Nejc Kuhar
Hi! I know this is an older comment, but is there a video of this lecture? I'm very interested in learning more about playing the guitar and I thought that this would help. I apologize if this information is posted somewhere on your page or in the comments below.
Hey. thanks for the comment! Unfortunately there is no video about it. Anyhow, it was more for composing and arranging than for playing guitar. Are you also a composer?
Amazing video! The dialogue between the instruments, the structure and form of the music, the dynamics, the mood, all are quite well considered. Wonderful video showcasing the process of composing.
I was looking forward to this concert! :) Today at 7.30 pm I will perform two world premieres with Celje String Orchestra and conductor Nenad Firšt in Celje! First is my "Concertino for Guitar and String Orchestra", and second is a piece from Mauro Giuliani, which I entitled "Grand Concerto Eroika"; I arranged it from his famous piece "Gran Sonata Eroika". I hope to see you all there :D facebook.com/events/1414641352155292/?ref=3&ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular
thats really impressive. i have never seen someone able to write out a 7 minute song note for note. i hope a big time music composer or producer gets in contact with u.
my goodness what a beautiful piece... really interesting way of presenting it too. I like this whole fast forward composing idea very original! You have some serious talent with composing music good sir. Kudos!
Amazing Sir. Great Works Mr. Kuhar. I liked meet your work Sir. I am at your disposal Sir . Congrats ( Brazilian - Brittanic Composer Paulo Cesar Maia de Aguiar .B 1970)
Very cool! I can't use copyrighted music though!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! :D
As a previous student of composition I can say that your original scores are slot neater than mine!
you really know how to write for guitar.
Thank you!
Roham Saberi Yeah, I was going to say the same thing.

You can buy it anywhere! Amazon! :)
i too would love the score, could you email it to jamesmc598@icloud.com ? thanks so much man
Beautiful piece!
+JJay Berthume Thank you very much!! :)
Great composition, and a good idea for a video-format. Why is the piece called "Trio No. 5465798"? Or did you write five million four hundred and sixty-five thousand, seven hundred and ninety-eight trios before this one...?
Probably the main motif.
Love the fact that you wrote the name of the number 😂😂
Is it possible that it's his phone number, or the number of someone he knows? The American composer Ingolf Dahl fashioned a theme in his "Music for Brass" from a phone number.
Or maybe this is his 5465789 attempts of making this video while writting the music down with a beautiful handwritting and no mistake
I liked it a lot, it reminded me of when I spent time doing songs in GuitarPro and believed that it was a composer. Then I enrolled in the university to the race of musical composition and I realized that I did not really know anything. Thanks
I am not sure, if it is a compliment or not, but thanks hehe :D

Man, without an instrument, how did you get to this level?
This is very inspiring. Very touching as well
Thank you for commenting and sharing! :)
this is just the most BEAUTIFUL piece i have ever heard!
Thank you so much!!
Man the way you do dissonance in counterpoint is just awesome
This is amazing. You should upload the non-fastforwarded version.
Really? Do you have hours and hours of free time? hehe (i don't know why, I just saw your comment!)
Nejc Kuhar eh, i feel like it would be good study music.
This is such a pretty piece of music. I've learned a lot about writing for guitar through seeing this, so thank you!
Thank you !! :D
Very cool vid to watch...just a friendly suggestion, the guitar is very low in the mix in relation to the violin and flute.
maybe this contrast is on purpose? btw its not really that low.
on purpose, hopefully, it’s nice like that
I don't know much about music so don´t take my opinion seriously, but I think this is an extraodinary song, wonderful. Thank you for making this. You have another sub.
Thanks for a very nice comment Jon! I am happy you like it!
Where could I find the ful piece? I want to hear the rest...@Nejc Kuhar
You should make more videos like this. As someone trying to learn how to transcribe, this is invaluable. Thank you

That was great, good job!
Thanks a lot!
I do have to thank.
I need a video on musical phrasing (reason, semi-phrase, sentence period).
A big hug.
This is wonderful. I love the idea of combining the sound of the piece and the text.

Nadarjen skladatelj z vedno novimi navdušujočimi zamislimi. Lepo, Nejc, zelo mi je všeč.
