A fascinating update - thank you. Great to see the greenery re-emerging where construction (or earth-moving) work has finished. Looking forward to riding on the New Spine Railway.
Thanks very much for posting. You can clearly see, especially at the beginning of the video how the planting is becoming established particularly on the railway banks and balancing ponds. Will be interesting to see this in a year's time.
So the same as the housing estate you live on? The retail parks you shop at? The sewerage plant your shit ends up at when you don't leave it as a comment on TH-cam? Just because you personally think it's pointless doesn't make it so.
@@robertelkins5928.. it IS pointless. What was originally planned as a ground breaking, "high speed" railway connecting the south with the north & beyond has now been reduced to little more than a shuttle service between west London & Birmingham. Golborne link - scrapped. Eastern leg - scrapped. Northern leg - scrapped. Euston station "on hold" for 2 years unless private investment can be found to fund it. It's been a complete disaster since day one & is nothing more than an environmental disaster of epic proportions & Britain's biggest infrastructure mistake in half a century.
@@howardjones6752 .. you're referring to the industrial revolution period when the building of railways was crucial for transporting people & goods around the country .. the boost to the economy was essential. HS2 isn't essential whatsoever .. that's the difference.
Wonderful flight, places, shots... Thank you very much for sharing. Video like 👍

Once again thanks for posting. Clear progress being made in this most recent of fly-overs.

Thats quite a thing to see 👌 nice film
Thanks v much. Lot of progress here, nice to see how all the edges are greening up this spring.
Would be good to see how Burton green tunnel is going.
I'm off on holiday tomorrow, but will see if I can do another run in a few weeks
A pointless scar on the countryside. I personally find it awful
This is what I think when I see any A road or Motorway.

Then it’s a good job you weren’t born in the early 1800’s, when the rich landed gentry scarred the landscape with railways. Just a thought 😂
