Thank you so much for showing us this beautiful island. People who watch your channel? Everyone who enjoys your videos and goes on tours with you. Happy belated birthday Tara! Couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate. Hugs and thanks again.
Chad you and Tara never fail in bringing some beautiful scenery and amazing history to ya'lls videos. I loved your tour guide ,he was so informative and seemed to be down to earth. I hope Tara had an amazing Birthday. Thank ya'll for sharing
Happy belated birthday! We went to Catalina quite a bit when I was a child and stayed in Las Casitas. These were the little houses built for the Chicago Cubs. One of my childhood friends on these trips is now the director of tourism for Catalina. I’m sending her your video.
Happy birthday Tara, how funny I honestly thought I was older than both of you but I just turned 49 in September, I hope you enjoyed yourselves it is definitely a bucket list of mine
The five decade club ain't nuttin! Wait until you get to the 7 decade club. And they said we'd never make it. It blows my mind how close those mooring balls are in the harbor. I hope they have both bow and stern lines because if they don't and a wind comes along they're going to have a lot of beat up boats. Keep the good stuff coming guys and happy birthday Tara.🎂
Happy birthday Tara! The big 5-0! What a great place to explore. I’ve been there twice but only to scuba so never got to explore out of town. Thanks. Our granddaughter went to an adventure camp there years ago and there were buffalo walking through the campgrounds.
Happy birthday, Miss Tara. Very nice video, guys. I've always heard about Catalina Island, but this is the first video tour around the island. Looks like a very nice place to celebrate your birthday. Hope y'all enjoy the remainder of your trip. God bless y'all and stay safe on your travels.
Happy B Day to Tara again. Welcome to the old timers club. Wait till you get to the 65 timers club. Glad you both had a good trip. Thank you for the trip around the island. Have continued safe travels.
Can't remember my 50th. But I do remember my 70th. Wasn't much. Always wanted to get there by my own boat. Not likely, that is going to happen? 🤒. Didn't know Marilyn Monroe had been there! Sure enough, I'm not seeing too many full-sized vehicles there. That island is so fine. Nice to finally see it. Not enough grass for the bison? Wow! Next stop for you.... 60th. 😁
Originally Catalina island was owned by three families, one of them being the Patton family. The General said that he would sail his boat out there to go hunting
Makes me wonder what kind of flora and fauna was native to the island before it was developed. Were the goats, pigs, and boar native species at one time, or were they imported and "escaped" into the wild? Island native species are always interesting to me as an amateur biologist, as they evolve to fit their very secluded and isolated environment. Same with the native plant species. I thought I saw a lot of eucalyptus trees along your jeep trip, and they are not native at all, as they are only originally native to basically Australia and a few other SE Pacific areas. I can't help but think that it's kinda a shame that the island has been kinda "polluted" with non-native species due to human development, despite what seem to be rather strict restrictions on same. To the best of my knowledge, The Channel Islands, off the coast of Santa Barbara 100 miles north of Catalina, are almost entirely a nature preserve, nearly untouched by humans. I had the opportunity to visit one of The Channel Islands when I was 17, don't remember which one, and can say it was quite the experience to wander for a day over land that had no paths, no human habitations, was just hills and sea and sky. I remember it was so immensely quiet...
Happy birthday Tara I'm glad you enjoyed your birthday
Happy Birthday Tara! Wishing you all! Hope that you had a great day! 🎉🎈🍪🍦🎂🍷🍷🍷🌹🌹🌹🎉🎈

Chad, did you know there was a song by the Four Preps in the late 50's about Santa Catalina Island?

HBD Tara 50 isn’t that bad. I got the big 60 coming in three months 🎊 🎉❤😂
Happy Birthday🎉
We laughed at Tara giving Chad a hard time about the golf cart at the garden. We guess it was a rough stop. Happy 50th. Now you can say Tara 5-0 😁.

Happy Belated Birthday 🎉!
Were you restricted from taking the motorcycle?
Try the 70 club

Okay wait! ✋So there’s a job where you just drive people around in a Jeep on an island? He looked miserable!! 😂😂😂
Happy Birthday Tara! Guys, I love your content, but... can you tone down your music a bit. Very distracting, and sometimes irritating.
