Bison is the strangest animal in the game. I've got the legendary bears, cougars, moose, pronghorn, fox, and elk because I know where they are most common, but bison bro, after killing 3 bison in a bison hotspot, they are gone, and never return. Though this vid showed me another hotspot that seems to be doing fine. Let's hope the bison don't dissappear again...

First of all, I can say that there are definitely no legendary variants of hares & rabbits and ducks & geese. This has been officially confirmed by Nacon and I haven't seen anything like this in almost 500 hours played. In response to your request for the video, I'm sorry to say that I'm not making any regular videos at the moment due to health issues. In my latest video I shortly explained why, maybe you haven't seen it yet. I'll add your suggestion to the idea pool for new videos, but it will take a while until I'm able to release new content regularly again.
Hey, that sounds strange, what system are you playing on? Do you have any idea what caused the reset? Was it a cloud save error? Maybe the old savegame is still stored somewhere in the files and you can recover it.

I've read that the legendaries were fixed via a patch. I have a digital copy of the game, how Im I suposse to get updates. Havent seen them on official website and there is no downloads available. Only steam seems to have them. Any idea?
Thank you for your comment. I think the game should update automatically (if activated in the system settings) on every platform. If you have any problems maybe a fresh install of the game (after savegame backup) helps. As far as I remember the last patch on steam was the Rangers Life DLC, since then nothing happened.
Thanks for your comment! Personally, I had the best results in the morning. But in general I think it's better to change the timeslot regularly. I usually rotate after every fifth to tenth map I've played.
to unlock the chance for a legendary animal spawn you have to claim at least 5 of the species. this info was available for a short time in the patchnotes from december and was removed for whatever reason. i´m not sure if the chance for a legendary spawn is higher if you claimed more than 5, i believe it´s only luck after the unlock.

I think it should be possible even if it would be a very rare case. But for every species with only one animal per licence it's pointless unless you set the unlimited licence for the species.
@@connarlinnebur8031 Legendary animals have a golden frame around the trophy info and when you focus a legendary animal with your scope or binoculars the font is also golden instead of white
I think it´s because the update for the switch version is not implemented yet. If i remember correctly there was a post from the devs that it will take some time to bring the switch version to the same status as the other platforms.

the bison video took two recording sessions and if i remember correctly i had to kill 10 or 11 bison before i found the legendary.

I am so sad all the sudden my game just restored I had almost every legendary animal except for the fellow deer

For Red deer I can recommend southern Harghita County in the later timeslots.

As far as i know there are legendaries for every species except the ducks & geese.

What map
Bandera Region/Texas is the only map with bison in HuntSim2.
Is their a game where you cant find legendary
I think every hunting game has some kind of rare or special animals, in HS2 they're just piebald fur types.
I just killed my first bison with the x bolt thread 30-06 killed him with the first shot he maybe ran 5-10m
