Alec has been by far my favorite artist for the last 6 years. He is an incredible singer and songwriter but he also uses his music and his platform to bring awareness to causes that he cares about, like mental health. I love songs like Mind Is A Prison because it perfectly describes what mental illness can feel like in such a unique way.
I never thought I could have my respect for Alec Benjamin somehow improve from where I had it but props for him for saying that he has no right to judge anybody else's OCD based on his own because he's not a mental health professional I wish more people could do that and not judge everybody else based on the fact that their symptoms don't align with the ones they have so miracle succeeded I now respect him even more than I already did somehow

why does alec being on the squeeze feels like it's my homie talking to girltay and boytay...It's a peculiar parasocial relationship I feel with Alec, despite being just a fan of whose existence he won't at all be aware of amongst hundreds of thousands of fans..Loved this soo much❣
It would be nice if yall had therapists on there who do other forms of therapy. Like having licensed professionals and people who've experienced Somatic therapy or another form of holistic therapies that incorporate more movement. It would be nice to see you guys talk about the options people can take who are too self-aware for just regular therapy. Thanks for your work!
First of all: didn’t know you guys had a podcast until watching call her daddy and now I’m going to be hooked so thank you Taylor and Taylor. Second of all: having Alex explain what his OCD looks like on the daily and it not being the stigmatized version of OCD was very validating and it’s inspired me to look more into and see if I do have the diagnosis. Thank you guys so much for this podcast, it’s genuinely going to change lives
I relate to Taylor loving a slow song/moody song soooooo much!! That’s literally me! I think alec is so good at song writing and being honest.. I really appreciate his music and his talent

I think the thumbnails previously to these last couple of videos were better, brighter more to catch your eye when your not paying attention. Maybe the if could dicuss with the editor to bring the old style thumbnails back after a while :)
